I still really really genuinely hate the portal system and everything else bungie did in edge of fate but at least the renegades campaign is pretty cool, the portal system sucks a tiny bit less now though it still sucks, the guns and new gear are cool and the dungeon is pretty good, all in all a good expansion just a shame bungie ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the foundation of this once great game so massively.

The year is 2020. Bungie has introduced Sunsetting into the game and made half of all gear completely useless. People hate it and riot, Bungie vows to never do it again.

The year is 2025. Bungie has now sunset 99% of all gear and also 90% of the entire game, reducing the whole endgame to a single menu. People hate it. What a surprise.

At this point my entire interaction with this game is just reading the TWIDs and hoping to read the magic words of: "We will delete the entire portal and seasonal gear system permanently"

This System is so awful no amount of "oh we make solo ops give +2 instead of +1" will fix it. It is beyond fixing. Honestly maybe the only way to save destiny is to make one last sacrifice, one last addition to the content vault and just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ remove Edge of Fate in its entirety and go back to the final shape. Hell ill gladly play the final shape for 2 more years and let yall take the time to make something actually good.

Fantastic horror game, however as a survival horror this kind of misses the mark. Still recommend this though, just dont expect classsic survival horror like the original sh2

the new war quest is so ♥♥♥♥ im considering quitting the game but everything else is cool

Everything i hated in the beta over 2 years ago is still not fixed, the "open world" looks like ♥♥♥♥ and has absolutely no substance, the story is dogwater and the handful of good campaign missions are locked behind at least 10 - 20 boring ass "stand on plate and defeat enemies slowly spawning in" type quests. Only good content remain the intercept battles which are cool but get stale rather quickly but hey at least the monetization works exceptionally well since every single thing in this game can be bought for real money and ridiculous prices. Gameplay wise this is really nothing new and everything the game tries to do has been done better somewhere else before. All in all im very disappointed since i had really high hopes for this since the first announcement trailler in like 2020 or so. This is a phenomenal game if youve never played a looter shooter before but if youre experienced in the genre you will hate this.

Best Destiny story yet, probably the only campaign in Destiny history able to compete with more story focused single player games
