I felt like this was too easy of a game, and I never felt in any real danger, which was amplified by finding out that it was impossible to crash into the ground (I tried to intentionally nose down, I couldn't). I'm far from the best at dogfighting games, but even so, I was taking out enemy planes left and right, and they would hardly fire back or try to maneuver themselves to fire at me at all.

It's Halo, baby.

Great game. I remember playing this all the time on my X-Box original, and I was really happy to see this on Steam. Hopefully Steam allows workshop support so that we can see a fan ideas in the game

It's okay...

Pros:
1) Lore-friendly attitude
2) Beautiful graphics (If your PC can keep up, anyway)
3) Space combat is the best I, personally, have ever played
4) Character/ship customization galore
5) Free-to-play
6) Some really great looking ships
Cons:
1) Ground combat is meh
2) Too many non-canon, original, and quite frankly, ugly ships for the Federation
3) Gambling galore
4) Bugs. Bugs everywhere
5) Pay-to-win attitude on the devs part
6) No raids against other fleets (guilds)

Although I am still new at the RTS genre, I plan on getting better, and I believe that CIV V is the perfect game to get started. I am having a lot of fun playing it, although I am far from the best.
