It's like Bioschock, without any of the playtesting or quality assurance that the devs from Bioshock did for for their game(s).

Some moments you'll wonder how a studio could pull this off. Other moments, it will become very apparent how a studio like this could pull this off. So many moments in this game made wonder if anyone actually played this game in-house after development. From the unbelievably tedious jump-puzzles, to the recommending me use a different upgrade to my glove that I haven't even purchased yet (not could afford -- or is given free) to get thru an incredibly stupidly-designed spot of the game.

There are quite a few redeeming qualities to this game, but it just seemed like they needed 3-6 months of play-testing more to really ice-the-cake before release.

Get it on sale if nothing else.

It's a fun game with a unique idea. The game is plagued with RNG though which can be really frustrating from a strategy game stand-point. You get to pick one two powerups at the end of each round, some are must-needed for later stages, some are laughably bad. You know after the first couple waves if you've got a chance to progress further. The shotgun itself needs to be fine-tuned. Again, there's so much RNG in where the shot actually lands. You could be a tile away and whiff entirely, despite your show being on, and that can end a run right there flat-out. Pretty fun game though, just gets a little frustrating when the decisions are out of your control.
