Game used to be a ton of fun and was really good. Poor updates and lack of follow-up adjustments have lead to it being an absolute slog to play. Devs broke the spawn system, enemies just randomly teleport and pop out of walls while you're kiting if they get off screen.

Darkness has sucked since the last round of nerfs. Power scaling is absolutely broken, most spells aren't viable anymore. It becomes picking the same mage, same powers, rolling gold to pick the same elements over and over, or you just lose.

Unfortunate.

An absolute masterpiece. This is a one-in-a-generation game. Followed it since the earliest information was released, pre-ordered as soon as I could, and I couldn't be more impressed with this game. The Legend of Dragoon is probably my all-time favorite game (still waiting for a remake/remaster/reboot/sequel/anything), so seeing the initial combat teasers had me instantly hooked. If someone else weren't watching me play the game, I'd easily be on my 4th or 5th play-through at this point.

Safe to say I have no interest in purchasing $70-$80 Nintendo/Xbox/Sony-sponsored games anymore (Borderlands 4 can get f***ed in particular).

Absolutely immaculate work, Sandfall. Looking forward to the DLC/Sequel and the movie. Don't let the visit to Sony taint you >_> (But PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take over the creative direction in their franchise).

Negative reviews seem to focus on game stability - I don't see why. I have many friends playing on hardware ranging from 1080TI to 4080 Super and every CPU in between. I believe most people instantly installed the Hi-Res DLC and lack the ability to use Google/troubleshoot performance issues.

That aside, this game is phenomenal. Multiplayer could always use some tuning, but if you've played Monster Hunter, you're familiar with their grouping process. And again, there's Google, but people are lazy. I've consistently and flawlessly played multiplayer with friends without any disconnects, crashes, etc.. I also had some performance issues with the Hi-Res pack installed, but I did some troubleshooting and found others with a similar issue, so I disabled it, as many said that resolved their issues. 0 issues since.

Haters gonna hate, but this is easily one of, if not the best, games in the series. Looking forward to playing more.

Fun game, cool concept. Could use some optimization and missing a few features/content, but definitely enjoyable as-is. More fun with a group, of course.

Not very much fun in single player at all, cheesy enemies like the chocolate-topped marshmallow that just runs infinitely and kills you in 4 hits, yet if you try to group and kite smaller enemies, they just reset their aggro... At least be consistent, not just when you want to be annoying.. Charge attack doesn't always queue up, ranged attacks with casters sometimes hit enemies and do nothing. power-ups feel insignificant in single player, can't get into a multiplayer match at all, sometimes have to click to start a private match 6 or 7 times before it creates a lobby... Fun game at its core, but phew... The above issues are constant and obnoxious.. I'm leaving this game as a recommend only because I hope it gains traction and gets some development attention because it's a cool concept for a roguelite, just executed poorly in its current state..

The game is a masterpiece.. Any Harry Potter fan will have an absolute BLAST playing this game.. If you're on the fence; get it.. This is the Harry Potter game I've waited years for. I don't leave reviews often at all, but this.. This is something special.

Absolute dogsh**. 343 should take any idea they have, throw it in the trash, and do the opposite of that. Battle pass? Trash. You make it take months to complete with the worst "quests" imaginable to progress. New playlists? Trash. We ask for shotty/snipes, we get nail guns and trash weapons. Why do you take something that people want and somehow find a way to ruin it? Connectivity? Trash - You've had the same desync issues since launch. Inputs? Trash. Mouse and keyboard has needed a fix since the game launched.

Literally, you took a franchise that nearly couldn't be destroyed (as seen by your other worst work of all time, Halo 4) and you finally managed to kill it. You found some redemption in Halo 5 and should have stuck with that formula.

Coop campaign? It's a myth. Forge? How many delays are we at? You release next to 0 information and put out 6 month long seasons in some delusion that will maintain quiet among players. Do yourselves a favor and hire some outside help or just take old Yeller out behind the shed already cause this ain't it.

How in the actual f*** do you still have such a bad system for reporting in this game?? I seriously have to go to an external website and fill out a ticket for you to do a manual review? How do you develop a game for this long, botch the launch KNOWING you should have postponed it, and STILL have such bad systems in place??

Trash and full of hackers since switching to steam. Unplayable and Bungie doesn't care in the least. Sad story.
