Absolutely love it to bits.

It's a total no think, very fun, very satisfying, engaging and light-hearted game.

The skill ceiling is not that high once you get the hang of things, it takes a bit of getting used to but after 20-30 hours you can be topping the leader board (if you want to be) or just vibing, hacking/slashing and taking in the incredible cinematic nature of the game.

I play it when I'm bored, when I'm down, when I'm happy, it always brings me back (I've played dozens of hours on PS5 too before getting it on PC).

It's a near perfect game imo in terms of replay ability, I keep coming back again and again, same maps, same battles, but it's addictive, always some epic/funny/super skill moments, great weapons, great bloody dismemberments.

Bloody brilliant.

10/10 - A masterpiece of the modern horror genre - MUST BUY

Pros:
- Excellent music and graphics (ie lighting, details)
- Excellent and elaborate story + fantastic DLC
- Amazing atmosphere, tense, scary and exhilarating
- Tons of scares - escape events, chase sequences, jumpscares, etc - mostly well implemented and unexpected

Cons:
- Can complete in a few hours, but that retracts nothing from the quality of the game (play it again on harder difficulty)
- Odes to a few cliches, but not in a tacky way

Excellent - a top notch horror, which is a rarity nowadays - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pros:
- Great atmosphere / music / graphics (ie lighting, details)
- A ton of jumpscares, mostly well implemented and unexpected
- Open environments makes exploration fun and spooky

Cons:
- Chase sequences are tense and cinematic, unless you take the wrong turn and just die, having to repeat until you find the right path
- Story is ok, enough to keep you entertained but not as good as the original 'Outlast' and the 'Whistleblower DLC'
- Less 'puzzles/tasks' to complete - for example in 'Outlast', you might have to find and turn different valves whilst being stalked, in order to escape - Outlast 2 does have these challenges, but they are fewer

8/10 - Take your TIME with this game, don't rush through it or try to 'beat it' quickly
For a great experience mostly walk instead of running, read the notes, listen to the recordings, explore all the buildings, stop and admire the horror of a scene around you. Even if you have a clear path to escape an enemy, try going the longer, scarier path to make the most of the game.

8/10 - A piece of art - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pros:
- Amazing atmosphere / lore / sound / visual style
- Unraveling the secrets of the Maw is both enticing and disturbing
- Fabulous enemy design - each is distinct and offers unique challenges
- DLC is (so far) very good, offering a different perspective, new mechanics and new enemies

Cons:
- Short game, can complete in around 3 hours
- VERY RARELY the physics get a little stuck on themselves and leave you frustrated
- Paid for DLC for a relatively short game (personally I don't begrudge it and bought the game and DLC both at full price)

Play the game slowly, explore everything, go back and play it again for the achievements - this makes it much more worth the price

Early Access Review
Biggest piece of utter trash - £22.99 is a joke, you'd have to pay me to play this game.

100% Instant Purchase At Full Price Recommendation

The game is sheer perfection in my eyes, if you are looking for a World War FPS. Here is a short list of some of the things that make this game so appealing:
- Graphics are very nice with well designed maps
- Utilises the same engine as Insurgency for the same sense of realism, however DoI has more bullet effects and an incredibly detailed gore/dismemberment system which makes the gameplay feel brutal
- Sticks to realism, high recoil, 1-2 bullet deaths, clever/skilled players are rewarded
- Every game feels like a movie with many cinematic deaths / kills
- Airsupport is well balanced as both teams have access as long as they cooperate and the effects are amazing (airstrikes, smoke screens, etc)
- Developers are fully dedicated with constant updates to fix minor bugs and to add new content / improve existing features

The screenshots above give no sense of the game, you really have to play it to see - I'd fully recommend at any price

Sidenote - BF1 has been the only other FPS for ages to offer World War as a setting, but this game takes 1st prize for doing it best

I honestly don't understand why this game has such a mass of negative reviews. Most of them aren't even about faults with the game and are rather technical issues to do with either outdated drivers or issues with resolution on immensly uncommercial monitors, I mean what do these people expect from a WiiU port anyways?

PROS:
- Great atmosphere and pacing
- Combat is fantastic, guns are slow but powerful, melee feels brutal
- Graphics are amazing considering it is a WiiU port, no issues with resolution or fuzziness from me
- Lots of missions with a semi-interetsing plot
- You feel weak, which makes you scared. Most zombie games make you OP to the point that a crowd of 50 zombies is nothing, in this game coming across more thatn 2 at a time is terrifying. Running from a crowd of 11 zombies after failing to land a molotov and then running into a local shop, barricading the door with planks and frantically grabbing supplies and loading your weapons before the zombies break through gives you a true rush of fear
- Fast loading times

CONS:
- Story is not that interesting, just engaging enough
- Mission areas should be much more open, it would be truly magnificent if you could walk around an entire london neighbourhood and explore shops and flats while collecting supplies (if this had originally come to PC maybe this could have been, but i guess small areas is all the WiiU could manage)

Overall this game is 100% worth the buy if you like zombie/horror games, although i would recommend getting it on a sale - £3.79 is a steal for such a nice little game

PROS:
- Sleek style
- Very fun / addictive gameplay mechanics
- Lots of challenge modes / wave modes after you finish the campaign
- Easy to do amazingly cool ♥♥♥♥

CONS:
- Finished the campaign in under 2 hours, so obviously not worth £18
- Gets repetetive, but I still find myself going back to it every now and then
- Could do with a banging soundtrack or something

CONCLUSION:
I payed full price because I had played the beta and found the game to be very fun, and it was, all 2 hours of it. It is not worth £18 but if you catch it on sale / G2A for £12 or under I'd say its well worth it, especially seeing as the challenge and endless modes can makeup dozens more hours in playtime.

10/10 - Masterpiece

It's GTA V, if you are unaware of this game yet, you must be living under a rock.
