Wait, so I paid for CS:GO when it came out, they made it "F2P" and renamed it - and now I have to purchase an MTX "Prime status upgrade" to get the "full game"?

The game allows you to kill Children. You can put the Children's corpse into your inventory, and then use said corpse as an improvised weapon in future battles. Throw a dead child's corpse at an enemy, and then reanimate it into a zombie.

Finally, an MMO that's overworld isn't just a glorified Launcher for BattleGrounds, Arenas, Dungeons, etc. (I'm looking at you, WoW.)

Finally, an MMO with an actual community. I've spent hours just sitting in town partaking in and eavesdropping on the many many conversations being had in VoIP. People in this game are actual people, and you feel like you are a part of something.

This is not a Themepark MMO. Do not expect for your hand to be held by the game itself. It can be a bit jarring at first when you first get out of Haven, as there is no direction given to you. I recommend new players to talk with people in town - You'll learn a lot more about the game from word of mouth in town than you will on a wiki.

If you want a game with real community and real PvP then you are doing yourself a diservice by not playing this game.

TELL PEOPLE YOU ARE NEW THEY WILL HELP YOU A LOT.

There's a 50% chance at least, that you won't even be able to launch the game.

Does your CPU support AVX? No? Then you can't play the game in its current state. Does CDPR tell you this? No, they don't!

Also, this game Requires DirectX12 Ultimate to run. Did you buy this game on Windows 8? Sucks to suck, hope you liked wasting your money kid.

And even if you are like me, and you have Windows 10, DX12U, and your CPU supports AVX, the game can still crash on start up for no reason at all! I haven't even been able to play the damn game yet.

So no, I don't reccommend you purchase a game that's a gamble on whether you will even be able to play.

This game is amazing. The sense of camaraderie you build with your fellow villagers will follow you past the hour you play with them. Each birth is a new opportunity make your own contribution to this very unforgiving world, and what you do in your hour may just be the difference between your village prospering for generations to come, or collapsing into a desolate ghost town.
