Really cool and neat game until i made it to one of the tutorial missions and it blue screened my computer exactly the same place in the match 6 times over 3 days. Not a single other problem with my computer with any games. Just this one. :(

I'm still giving it a thumbs up because the game was fun for the little i could play it. But if you are also having the crashing problem. Just uninstall :(

So many characters, so many class options, so many different endings. SO MUCH TO REPLY OVER AND OVER. I love this game and think its worth anyone's time.

As a lover of survival games I purchased this game 3 days after its release. It had LOTS of mixed reviews. I read only the negative reviews for hours. Most of the negative reviews expressed problems that almost every survival game has. So after 249.6 hours in game as of today I thought a review would help some people.

THIS GAME IS FUN !!! The fresh ideas of realm travel and steam punk is really great to me. I love that its a gear based game and there are SO MANY different ways to make your gear. Lots of different building designs you can use , not just wood , stone , or metal ... The game offers several different difficulty levels for each new realm you make with your own portals , easy , med, hard , extreme. Each increase also offers more rewards. There are quests that guide you to the watch. A public realm with vendors to teach you many many new things. Anyways I'm rambling. SO ..

Pros: FINALLY Not a 60$ game.
Great graphics. Draw distance is amazing.
Weather lol. Amazing but it can kill you.
Really supports group play , or solo play very well.
In game voice is pretty good. Even has echo while in caves.
Weapon building with different mats is amazing for min max building.
Magic is a thing and is really fun and fluid.
After 249.6 hours of game time i have only crashed once.
The load times are not as bad as some people have stated. Dont play new games on toasters people.
You get a companion and they look great when they stand in fires . no they dont take damage from it lol.
** This game keeps me involved and wanting to play more and get more people to enjoy they game with. **

CONS:
Standing at a crafting station will get you afk kicked after about 15 minutes. Kind of no big surprise but still. I'm crafting here.

Weather lol. Amazing but can kill you.

You will need a lot of storage boxes if you are a pack rat (hoarder) of every resource you find. Dont do this. You only need some of the resources you find, not all of them.

Tier 0 starter stuff stinks, Make new stuff as soon as you can.

REPAIRING. Costs essence. Essence is collected by extracting plant fiber, rocks, wood, hide, or basically anything you find. Its easy to get around. Just pick up tons of plants and sticks and extract lol. I recommend the harvesting enhancement that gives you about 400% more plants on harvest.

Companions AI needs some customization. MAYBE something like, dont put my best resources in the bonfire.

People have tips and tricks videos all over youtube , i recommend starting there. MAKE SURE they are newer videos. The game released Feb 20,2024 .. dont use the videos from alpha in 2022 ..

No mounts for faster travel. This doesnt bother me much because of all the puzzles on every map.

Google Nightingale Game for best search results. Just using Nightingale comes up with mostly birds.

Anyways I think I am done with this review of my play time. With out straight bashing other survival games by name to compare this game to. I have to say out of all the survival games I have played this one is REALLY FUN to me and one of my favorites for sure.

My review with Over 200 hours in the game.
PROS: Simply put :: Easy to run on any computer , lots to do , lots of fun. Very stable. The devs are working on the game actively and new stuff is always being done.

CONS:: Would like more options for a roof then thatch, and maybe a flat roof option. Would like to be able to plant some more things (berries, mushrooms, thistle). Still waiting for them to implement a way to destroy stuff.

Other: You can modify the land elevation to build a castle out of stone up on a giant hill if you like. Not easy but you can. Super hard to tame wolves, but it can be done.

This is a very fun survival game. The over all challenge and extreme graphics are amazing. Not to mention the over the top comic value of the tool tips and the new AI that tells you about the tutorial :)

If you are mature enough to not panic from the violence and dark humor. Then I highly recommend this game for anyone that wants a very different kind of survival game.

Third person Space Ninja fast game.
I have over 4,200 hours in it at this time and I still enjoy the game every time I play.
Amazing Graphics and runs on really old machines like mine (intel core 2 duo, 4gigs ram)
A+ Community PR with the Dev's and vise versa. Always live videos of what is going on with the game.
Over all one of my favorite games ever.
I would recommend it to anyone that has some reflexes and wants to have fun.
