After using this for about 1000 hours, I have finally realized that you can customize the hotkeys to switch between different tools.

What a game changer.

Early Access Review
Mix the concept of a multiplayer deck-builder with the aesthetic of the Scott Pilgrim comics and you get this badass rogue-like/battle-royale game that you've never seen before. This game's core loop is extremely fun and re-playable with each instrument being its own class with a focus towards different mechanics and a leveling system that unlocks more cards.

It does, however, still breathes early access, but not in the most dramatic way:
-Some of the UI can be clunky or dysfunctional sometimes. I had cards floating in random positions with my mouse off of them sometimes, and I've had my volume settings reset occasionally,
-Online matchmaking is sparse. I have so far only faced against bots, seeing the devs once in a royale but losing before matching up against them. Luckily bots exist to replace them, but it does feel lonely in here.
-Grinding is sort of required to beat the game. The cards you unlock from leveling up nearly matter so much more to finishing the game. And since there's 4 different instruments, it feels like a lot.

I hope the game does gain more traction. For this game to have a large online community, it would probably have to become free-to-play, which I don't think will happen (although possibly taking a page off of Fortnite might be a possible decision). I do, however, think the game is still very enjoyable with bots in both the battle-royale and rogue-like options it has, and worth it if you are interested in deck-builders and cooperative games.
