Should definitely be played with friends so you can sacrifice them to the spirits for your safety

The game is charming, and truly a love letter to a large collection of genres, but you will find that your enjoyment comes in fits, and starts. I repeatedly found myself getting stuck on required mini-games for genres I am no good at which resulted in either hours of frustration to beat a section that is in reality only 5 minutes, or putting the game away for months at a time. I've finally hit my limit after 16 hours with the Double Dragon section in the pirate fortress; even on the easiest difficulty level I am getting trounced on every screen, and can no longer pretend that this game is fun.
