Heartshot scratches the itch I've had for a story-driven, VR game for years and a great first game from Meadow Studios!

Like most gamers, I've wanted something that was even half the experience of Half-Life: Alyx since it came out. While Boneworks and Bonelab are great and clearly inspired a lot of the systems used in Heartshot, the art style, music, and cinematic experience on display surpasses these other games and quickly made Heartshot one of the most memorable and consistent VR experiences I've had to date!

The epic music, consistent and unique artstyle, and fantastic lighting, color, and composition show that nailing the fundamentals go so much further than fancy materials and photoreal models. Add in some great comedic moments, good variety and spacing of gameplay moments, satisfying gunplay, and just straight-up good game design, and it all comes together perfectly!

They've had fast updates in response to player feedback and quickly fixed the only complaint I had on Index (needed holsters).

I'm very excited to see what the next parts have in store, but I'm satisfied with the 2-3 hour experience in part 1 and am impressed such a small team made such a memorable game!

This game absolutley blew me away. It is original, hilarious, and was an all around great time. Play the demo if you are thinking about getting it and even if you do have it. The demo is like a seperate game and will give you an idea of the kind of comedy in the game.
