In any game where you gather a lot of items only to die later, you tend to get annoyed. RoR2, however, somehow makes it so much more fun to do so, even if you do die.
The timer that it shows you constantly along with the constantly ramping difficulty makes the game a blast, one that you can look at after and go, "Yes, I survived 96 minutes out there, and dealt 30 million total damage."
Plenty of challenges to do, many stages to see, and the logbooks add a bit extra to those that want to truly 100% this game.
100 hours later, I feel like I can safely say this; If you like looting, shooting, exploring, or even just seeing your damage numbers go up and up, Risk of Rain 2 is worth picking up.
