Room has come far from a phone game to a fully fledged VR game.
Its visual style and puzzles work incredibly well in the VR environment, and none of them repeat over the game to the point of annoyance.

I have previously played the Skyrim mod.

Many characters and story points were beat on beat similar to that, and i wouldn't minded if it was an exact copy of it. But there were some big surprises that left me ecstatic after connecting all the dots and confirming some of our hunches.

I truly enjoyed myself the whole playthrough, apart to being stuck trying to solve one quest one way, while missing the key conversation that makes solving quest solvable from another npc.

Another Big issue was that the announcement audio end of each loop, that was significantly louder and impossible to balance with other audios.

Delightful little story that lasts a bit over an hour.
None of the puzzles feel repeating nor are they frustrating hard.
Visually, I love the game and there were scenes where I would have wanted to just sit and enjoy, not to mention staring to infinity.
It's not a deep or sad game, but left me sitting a bit melancholic, in a good way.

Absolutely great game which isnt too hard, but makes you think time to time.
Characters are rememberable and provide plenty of useless information on top of necessary topics.
its not too hard and when you do get stuck, its not frustrating.

Only problem i had with game was the fact that it kept bugginf out. couldnt select back, nor menu, nor nothing.
Only way out was the good old alt+f4 and lose all progress you have made unsaved.

I wasn't expecting much from a game and only bought it because of sale, but it did surprise me.

The lack of serious story didin't bother me too much. I had a blast with driving around and upgrading my rusty trusty car. But that takes you just so far. Camp takeovers are quite repetive and collecting scrap around will get tedious overtime, but that isnt my biggest beaf in the game.

First problem came when i needed to upgrade my harpoon.
To do this i needed to clear threat from one zone completely. That includes clearing minefields which should be something you do for achievement. To clear minefields you need different vehicle that isnt your usual one.
It's almost defenseless, without good weaponry or ability to fix/upgrade it, so you are banging your head to the wall multiple times with the patrols.

And the patrols, never, stop, coming.
I do understand that to keep wastelands interesting and fun you need enemies.
But these things come just too often. Its like my car has gps tracker or huge kite attached to my car.
And thanks to rubberband a.i, they never stop following you.
So for good time of my playtime i was just eliminating these patrol cars.
When patrols aren't pestering you the storm will. Its nice way to add 5mins to your gametime while you idle in corner waiting it to go away.

But the thing that broke the camelback for me was the mandatory races you had to win in order to continue story.
I'm no good when it comes ticking time or races in games and assumed they too were just something you do for fun/achievements.

So end of a game is mystery for me.
In the end i did still enjoy the game for the 30'ish hours i played it.
Sadly the games good things are too bland, so after time goes on, i will only be able to recall the bad things.

+slowly upgrading your car.
+arkham style fighting.
+bucket, dogmeat and wastelands.

-Minefields, races, things that should be only for achievements.
-too many patrols and storms.
-repetive camps.

Nice weekend game for sale price, but only for sale price.

Lovely one evening puzzle game that keeps you going,

While its true that puzzles arent too hard, they are tricky enough to keep you interested and since no puzzle is recycled in game, it keeps you going and guessing whats to come.

art style is really pretty in games and in "cutscenes"

With pricetag being so low for 5-6h game, its hard to find anything bad to say.

Homesick is onenight puzzlegame with great graphics and fantastic music that i shall remember for while.

The puzzles have multiple ways to complete and they are all logical options. In homesick you know what you want to do, but question is how. I found myself often trying to make up too complicated answers for puzzles that wasn't there.

Length of game will ofc vary depending person, but i think it could have hour or two more content and still keep it as game for one evening.

I do have to say one bad thing about the game and that's the price. It is awesome game, dont get me wrong, but not for that length. Wait till it comes to sale and buy it then.
