By far the best of the realistic WW2 FPS multiplayer game out here, while not bad Hell Let Loose just doesn't promote teamwork the same way, which is a cornerstone to meaningful gameplay.

I don't understand what happened to this game, we still don't have the most basic gameplay ironed out. Its still a mess, and the career mode is a joke... but a space DLC? I'm not going to bother reinstalling this any time soon, what a shame and a waste, shame on the developers. This isn't space engineers.

As it stands now, I can no longer recommend the game. The direction the dev's are taking will only destroy everything that makes it great. After several huge mistakes, they have proved incapable of doing better and have only managed to do worse. They are not showing that they care about the game.

Edit: still the same increasingly buggy mess, its an absolute shame. Looking forward to changing this review when the Dev's grow up and work on the game. Instead of breaking everything.

Until they fix the endless grind EVEN when you put several times the cost of a AAA release worth of real money into the game, and stop punishing people for using vehicles they like. I will be taking a break from this. Its just not worth it.

Hands down my favorite pvp FPS game ever made.

The new update addresses everything I had any issue with, its not perfect but its fantastic as it is. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't actually care about the game and its intent, and is just afraid of change.

I've been playing racing games for 25 years, and this is my new favorite of all time. It is the most visceral, punishing, and rewarding racing game I have ever played. It takes so much out of you, but the feeling it gives in return is like nothing else.... and I'm only 50hrs in, barely able to control mid tier cars.

I'm just beginning to get a handle on the RWD cars like the M3, and even managed to post in the top 250 in time trials (playing with a controller).

The graphics are unbelievable, and the game runs with everything turned almost all the way up on my mid tier system.

I recently switched to in cockpit view, something no game before has ever successfully convinced me to do. It makes it far easier to get that inside tire deep into the corner, but it also adds a new dimension of terror to driving in the rain!

It all comes down to something I had not realized, Rally racing is the purest form of racing, where the true sense of "game progression" is not getting hundreds of cars in your garage, but watching your own skill and knowledge develop as you race against yourself.

Great game. But not for everyone. Its open world PvP, and if you don't know what that means then make sure you do before buying. Its still buggy, but there is a core that is tons of fun to play. You have to play smart to survive, and even then sometimes you won't. Its all part of the fun.

First, this game is not for everyone. Its a niche game. You will not be given a story, you must make your own. This is a sandbox PvP game (also PvE but I don't reccomend that). There may be a huge enemy player fleet around that island even in your home waters waiting to sink you, or there may be nothing. Some people complain about the "grind" but honestly within a week you can fully crew some excellent ships that are very important and effective in PvP (like the Rattlesnake).

This is a slow paced game where you can easily take on a group of more ships in bigger ships if you have the skill. There are upgrades etc.. that help, but at the end of the day one missed broadside, or a badly timed maneuver negates the positive effect of most of them. The combat mechanis are very detailed, with tons of room to micro manage all the while you must manually aim every shot. Sometimes this means a whole broadside into a wave, sometimes it means enough hits below the waterline (leaks) to sink a ship with otherwise full HP.

I'll add to this review later, but long story short if you are into this sort of game there is nothing else like it, but again its not for everyone.... which is where the best games come from. The learning curve is steel, but the reward is great. Just get into your nations TS or group up with a clan and more then likely they will be very supporting (at least thats what its like in Sweden).

I had a negative review, but it seems they took away the microtransactions! I've come back and started playing again. Great game!
