Shows promise, but still definitely early access. Wait for a few updates to jump in.
Upsides: Very pretty. Pull based conveyors are a nice change of pace, means a lot less worrying about belt positions.
Downsides: The only anti-aliasing options are temporal, I HATE TAA and TSA. Frame gen is pretty much necessary if you want more than 20fps. But enabling frame gen introduces noticeable input lag... which is bad when you're getting swarmed with bugs.

It's a lot like Vampire Survivors, but 3D.

Feels great, music's good. Brings me back to the PS3. LOVE that I don't have to run DS4Windows to be get PS icons, just had to turn off Steam Input and everything worked perfectly. Great game to just chill to after work or before bed.
Only things I don't like is how short a "tap" really has to be to register as such. And jumping off of rocks often keeps you stuck until you spam jump a few times.

Last two achievements are not fun though. Should have been like 200 cores and 5 Million blocks, not 500 and 10 Million, that's reasonably ranged for the end of the game, but doubling that is way too much.

A friend gifted me the game to play with him, but he only played a couple missions with me. I kept playing though. Having a pretty good time.

Remnant II does everything the first did, better. Bolder. More classes. Better abilities. New guns. Grand boss fights. Normally I HATE Souls-likes since they so heavily rely on reaction time and well-timed dodges, but in Remnant II with just a decent build and good footwork I can face tank most fights. My only real complaints are that the wiki is on Fextralife instead of wiki.gg, and the buildcrafting for elemental damage is lacking.

The magic system is refreshing in how many combinations you can come up with, but there's nothing that can redeem MOUSE MOVEMENT. I don't understand why some games insist to put MOVEMENT on the same hand we AIM with. Feels like a controller-minded twin-stick shooter with poor porting to m&k.

It's remarkably stable. No problems with FPS, I've encountered very few bugs so far, and had zero crashes. Can't wait for Workshop release to see what people come up with.
