Review: Alright, let's get real here, me saying "I'm doing my part" overstates my actual ability to make a difference to the war effort, so I would just say that "I like being a part of things". And that's what matters. If you're rubbish at it, then just revel in being part of the chaos, or be 'that guy' that causes it. This is a truly crazy game that will keep you balanced on the precipice of being overrun, but somehow managing to find a way out, you'll have that sinking feeling of 'all is lost' for 40 minutes straight.

This game has been abandoned without delivering the advertised product. Steam is not refunding anyone and violating consumer law (at least in Australia - not sure whether taking people's money without providing the agreed goods/services is legal in other countries?).

A look, feel and journey unlike any other I've experienced in my decades in gaming. Both haunting and enchanting in the best possible ways.

Outstanding implementation of the instructor/training philosophy - there's various switches and functions which address the needs of a training platform and were perfectly implemented into the cockpit. Aircraft performance is set perfectly to firstly slow down the pace of a battle for the student and, secondly, to highlight the importance of energy management.The rear seat control lockout switch position also enables the aircraft to be operated as a two-crew aircraft where one can be gunner/radar operator(etc) whilst the other one flies, for those that want to use it as a multi-crew jet in combat.Overall it's a superb piece of DLC that fills a gap in many different facets of VTOL VR gameplay (both for PVE & PVP) and worth a heck of a lot more than the asking price.

This game will eventually tease out that expansionist side of you and you'll realise after a while that you're on a hair trigger to start a war if someone even looks like they'll threaten your oil supply. Great capitalist vs eco simulator!

Started playing this is January and awoke from a blackout in March. I don't remember what happened but I must have enjoyed myself and now I appear to have a megafactory that has devastated the natural environment on some alien planet. As a human, that is satisfying to me.

I had a genuine feeling of achievement and elation when I finally rendezvoused in orbit for the first time, all with a crappy analogue computer. Great and detailed game with some immersive (wip) VR support.

It's a bit odd that no matter how badly I think my reentry burn went, or thinking that I was going to land on the ground, I always seem to land in the ocean, right near the carrier...

If Steam existed back in 1995 when I first started playing this series, then my total playtime would easily be into the 5 digit range. This game has nurtured my OCD from such a young age.

Great for getting some lo-fi chilled driving practice at work for Snowrunner when you get home.
