This game truly is like the best aspects of each Souls game with the general vibe of an open-world RPG like The Elder Scrolls as the framework. The bosses remain challenging; more challenging, in many instances. The quality-of-life additions (jumping, horseback riding, "hotkeys," etc.) really make playing the game feel that much better, and I'm glad to see some elements from Sekiro making their way into a more Dark Souls-esque game. The aspects of convenience, QOL, and ease that have infiltrated what is notoriously difficult and "for-hardcore gamers," but as a result, FromSoft has been able to push the boundaries of what constitutes difficult, yet rewarding game play.

The world-building is phenomenal and G.R.R.M. really stepped it up a bit from other souls games, not that older Souls titles failed here by any means. The music, atmosphere, and aesthetic of everything is absolutely stunning. There's not a moment that goes by in game where I'm not appreciating the emotions evoked by the scenery and score that surrounds me, whether I'm riding through the overworld or facing off against a minor boss.

This game is not even living up to the expectations we had - it's destroyed them.

It's pretty good. You can't beef with the Gief.

Makes you feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' ninja. Great mechanics, I expect nothing less of FromSoft. Definitely worth playing if you like the Souls games, Blood Borne, Code Vein, etc.
