After finishing the game, my impression is that Nier:Automata will be the best game to be released this year. The game is well worth your money. Like any good JRPG it takes more than 40 hours to do everything in the game.

The setting is a post-apocalyptic world where androids and machines are at war with each other. At the beginning of the game, you control an android named 2B. Throughout your journey in the vast world of Nier:Automata, you learn that not everything is as simple as it appears to be.

The world of Nier:Automata is large but not so large that exploring it all seems like a daunting task. The visuals are most definitely one of the highlights of the game. Whether you're exploring the seemingly endless desert, dilapidated city ruins or overgrown forest, everything is absolutely stunning to look at.

The music does an incredible job of enhancing the atmosphere of the game. You truly feel like you are in an empty world void of true human life or civilization. The soundtrack is the absolute best soundtrack I have ever heard. Every song tells it's own story and each tune will sound refreshing and new no matter how many times you've heard it.

Although some including myself may find that becoming attached to characters that aren't strictly human may be tough, Nier:Automata has a way of making you care even if you don't want to. The characters, although androids, are human. They each have their own stories and emotions that will suck you in.

Overall, this is one of, if not the best JRPG games I've ever played. Anyone looking for a dark and serious storyline should give this game a shot. Fans of hack and slash games or RPGs in general will also fall in love with this masterpiece.
