Surprisingly addictive and a hell of a lot of fun. Basic combat with some town management thrown in but just nails everything. Some few glitches here and there but doesn't kill the game.

If you long for the days of the incredible storytelling of Telltale games then this is a no brainer for you. The cast all performs well, the writing does what every telltale game does, it endears you to all of the characters in the game (even if not at first). If you haven't played any tell tale game and enjoy super hero stories or story focused games give a shot I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Minor synopsis: you play a Hero who's unfortunately run into circumstances where you can no longer perform your duties and are recruited to Dispatch heroes to problem areas. Those heroes you choose for each job can perform better in certain circumstances and you can increase their stats throughout the game. While the story choices may seem less impactful than other TT games you'll still feel the weight of many of them at the end game, Season 2 can't come quick enough. The soundtrack is also pretty good one song in particular (During a party scene) is very catchy.
