It was fun. playtime says it all

Very fun but only 5 hours of content right now. Play demo and wait for updates before buying unless 5 hrs of really fun gameplay is worth $20 for you

If you like music and games play this

I've played CK2, EUIV, HOI4, Stellaris, and CK3. I never played Vic2 so I don't have a reference but I understand the feeling of going from CK2 to CK3 where it felt like the entire game was somehow simplified and a lot of the depth and flavor that seemed to exist is gone. If that's how people who are coming from Vic2 I completely understand. As a person who never played Vic2 though, Vic3 was fun for me for about 60 hours. That's more time than I've put into a lot of other games. Having said all that, I do think there needs to be a lot of improvement in this game as a lot of other players mentioned. There is no difference in playability in different countries. Whether I'm playing USA or Korea, it's the same feeling of research tech, build lacking goods in the market, and change laws for industrialization. I'm hoping that the free updates promised will add some flavor to the game but at the worst I know modders will be there.

TLDR: Not perfect but I played 60 hours and enjoyed my time.

I think they did a good job of bringing me back to the original game but also creating a new game that feels different. Fun but short. Everything was very linear and yet it was still fun.

The story didn't capture me like the original did but it as still interesting and fun to play I just didn't feel as invested.

In the end, it's a fun game that I'd be happy to get for $20.
At $40 it's too short of a game

This to me is like a simplified version of EU4. I really like how easy it is to adjust the difficulty to my desire. The developer seems to be constantly updating this game which is also amazing. I'm really looking forward to how this game will develop over time. Also for $5 you should buy this game right now.

Didn't really use it for anything other than controlling my mouse and keyboard when I'm on my bed watching stuff on my computer. For months it went by as a bed controller. Then I started playing ACOdyssey with it and let me tell you. This controller is the best once you get used to it.
