Absolute cinema of a game.

I would say that this is kind of like a multiplayer Tears of the Kingdom. A game multiplayer game that allows you to experiment a lot on a sandbox world.

The only important rule you must know is: Loot is not important, you should not care about it. You will always have free kits and will be able to do something with them.

To enjoy the game, find your ground and take risks.

The variety of maps, satisfying gunplay, and classic customization XP progression really takes back to when you could unlock stuff just by playing, and not with MTX.

Bonus points: it's a Unity game, which makes modding easier. Looking forward for the guns and maps from Tribes/Halo/Quake and whatever you can think of that has those 1v1 gamemodes.

If you like it and want more of it, the DLC doubles the content in maps and adds much more progression to the game, while also supporting the developer, so: GO BUY IT

Disregarding the horrid state of the performance of the game, the water mechanic could drag this game to the ground.

Some people will say that you can optimize it to get 24.6 barrels of water per hour or something like that, while not acknowledging that even if it was 5 seconds of play per day, it still forces you to play while threatening with an almost full wipe of your progress.

The fact that people are accepting this is probably the result of normalizing Battle Passes and FOMO tactics, one starts to think that being forced to play something is ok while in reality it is just engagement farm and awesome tactics to create addiction.

I think that it is understandable for a developer to want to keep a player engagement, but:

• Do not put some random reason as the cause for the mechanic.
  
• There has to be another way for getting the engagement besides making the players have to agree to a new job just for playing the game.
  
• This ain't it chief.

Everything else for the game may be undercooked/raw or whatever food analogy you want to use, but that can be fixed, but with water they seem set in stone on it.

Just to clarify, I love the core gameplay and I think it delivers on the premise (even if undercooked).
