Fatshark....I genuinely enjoyed your game for a while and still do, but you need to realign your headspace as it relates to darktide.

you are not arrowhead game studios, or ghost ship games. Darktide is not Deep rock galactic, or helldivers 2 with their endless thousands of hours of replayability. You have maybe eight levels, twenty enemies, with the only change being difficulty. No procedural generation, no big cinematic moments or interesting exploration. Darktide is a glorified looter shooter, without the dopamine hit of finding weapons in the wild, only resources to purchase and upgrade them in drab shops.

But of course you had to throw out one more fishhook, a cool looking new class with interesting abilities you just had to staple a standalone price tag to. You were already going to make who knows how much by luring in new players to your game with the class, and from selling cosmetics for the arbite to new and old players alike. But you just had to charge to play the class at all, despite the fact you only fleetingly add real new content to this game.


I don't think I'll be buying it, Not unless it does something spectacular that proves really worth the money, because I could get whole other games for what you're charging for the arbite. And to those reading it, you should stay away from this game. It looks bright, and shiny, and cool. But there's not really that much replay value here, and the developers are not good to the community or the game.
