I love this expansion, after playinng it I have to say, hear people's concerns over the fact that the levels are more confusing and laberynth like but honestly, before chapter 2 I began playing Silksong and after that, Ori and the Blind Forest and another run of Blasphemous so I'd dare say this is more... Metroidvania, where you need to see to make progress to open another door to loop back around and so I kind of find a sense of appreciation from that side of things.

The music is still a copaganda BOP and I learned how to bunny hop, honestly I really appreciate the level set pieces that this game has sometimes like the poison swamp with the corpses swarm, Hidetaka Miyazaki would be proud.

Or the shootout at the town. I just feel like once you learn to do the bunny hopping you become too reliant on it to run around like a mad man and speed things up.

There can also be a small criticism of the material economy and how upgrading weapons feels like a slog because it always feels like you are one short.

Now again, to recap, I think the biggest generalized gripe that people have with this is the level design, levels are massive, loop onto themselves and you must pay close attention to not get lost and that's legitimate, I spent a whole hour on the fair alone. But honestly, I like it this way. What's the complaint? "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THERE IS TOO MANY UNITS OF GAME IN MY $5 EXPANSION AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"?
"THESE LEVELS ARE TOO CRAFTY, LOOPY AND LONG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"?

Not to take away the merit of others who are solo developers who love their craft and who have made similar games, but this, for its weight, for its length, for its soundtrack, it stands as one of the best boomer shooters out there, a game that has some really nice moments, moments of fear, that feel truly dreadful and it can give you a startle every once in a while. Its platforming when it tries to use it might not be the best but the bopping OST certainly knows where it is and what it's doing so I'll see to buying the OST because it's that good and fun.

And hey, chapter 2 added a pool table so I'm glad I have this game, I bought it with my first paycheck and now one year later I am playing it from my new laptop.

Crazy to think that I never wrote a review on this games, probably one of the best games in the genre I dubbed "interface simulators" so much going on and so unique in style, I love it deeply, chapter 2 but specially chapter 3 being some of mi favorite fiddling around with machinery I've done in a videogame.

I had a good time with this rage bait game, can't be mad at the "woAH" the bird makes when I ruin shot.

God awfullly dreadful, absolutely chilling, more so if you are enveloped in this lore, Mr Klubnika is showing to be one of those amazing videogames auteaurs that will probably have Flawed Peacock (from YouTube) make a must waych 6-10 hours theory and lore video about his content like he did with Who Is Lila.

Some of the best horror I've enjoyed in a while, not since Stories Untold have I played something this chilling, but specially this. Haunting concept and hopefully we'll see more of it again.

Certainly this made it into my yearly repetition list.

Lovely little game I decided to try now that I am stuck visiting mom and dad and mom got dad a tactile laptop I'm using to work from their place. Really enjoyable on a touch screen, really loving the brain teaser aspect of it to keep me sharp, I'll enjoy the heck out of this when I buy my own tactile laptop.

Ok so, big bummer, first of all it has almost no modern day amenities.

First: So you may understand, it's based on the Dreamcast version which a minority of people have played but it looked prettier which to me amount to a grand total of nothing.

Second: Run isn't a separate input, it's based on the tilt of the analog stick... which if you know this game, means you always run-attack and worse, when you're locked on a target and I tilted the stick to move towards them, I would side-step bakwards and away from the enemy. Running on the PS1 version was bound to you holding one of the L2/R2 buttons.

Third: Your abilities (bomb and 3 abilities) are bound to the same button you use to BLOCK, which means you'll probably be 400 hours deep in this game and still drop a bomb or use an ability you didn't mean to. Same here these abilities were bound to one of the L2/R2 buttons.

Honestly, it feels... bare minimum, like more thought was put on putting playable characters for new game+ than solving these fundamental gameplay issues that are the core of the experience that were a non issue in the PS1 version. I don't even know if these will ever be solved given that they seem to be endemic issues to the Dreamcast version.

Honestly if it wasn't because my PC for some reason can't run the PS1 emulator right I'd go play this game on a PS1 emulator since Darth Maul is the same, it's just that on the PS1 version it didn't have the double lightsaber version, and also you kinda had to remember combos by memory unable to see the list of them.

Again, could have been perfect. Real sad.

I never got to review this game but I feel like I should, the voice acting in English is top of the line, isn't Ann's brother the LITERAL voice actor that plays Miyuki Shirogane in Kaguya Sama Love is War Season 1 and 2?

Is it a perfect game? No, the story is unfocused, it tries too many things that don't really make sense, like the [and what's ahead is an inconsequential spoiler so discression is adviced] the girl who is a literal reality bender , the upgrade system might as well not be there, the bosses sometimes feel a little too ball busting, the weapon system didn't make much sense to me but I'm glad I went beyond my original sense with this game and my prejudice of it starting kinda slow and verbose to get to the end, it's overall a nice game and I'm glad I finished it, the experience was nice.

This is a game. I bought it using just money. Not the souls the innocent, not the blood of the weak, I just had to load some funny numbers on a machine and got this game.

Has one draw back, not enough of the OG funny but also brutal gore,

Paid 1 peso.

I'm never uninstalling this.
