The best colony management game ever made.
It is worth every penny and then some.
I will hear no dissenting opinions, for they are misguided and wrong.

Would rather dive into a wood chipper than play another minute of this game

Vastly improved from Destiny 1 imo. The gun-play in the crucible is way more balanced than it was in the first game, more in the sense that absolutely everyone has bs weapons and abilities so it balances it out. It's not built for competitive play by any stretch of the imagination, but that wasn't the intent, and most people who would play Destiny 2 wouldn't expect it to fill that role anyways. So that's really only a negative for me.

Both PvP and PvE "multiplayer modes" are very fun in their own ways. It feels like there's 4 games built into one because you have the Crucible for direct PvP, Gambit for PvE against another team (PvP potential with invasions), general quests for a more free flowing, open world PvE experience, and then a campaign which I have yet to play through but offers that same story type of experience from the first game's campaign.

Since it has gone f2p, it is very easy to obtain very powerful weapons if you play with a veteran of the game. I already had 3 very good exotic guns (Sunshot, Riskrunner, and Monte Carlo) and 2 good exotic armor pieces (Can't remember the names of those lol, the titan headgear with the long horn looking things, and some gauntlets) within 15 hours of playtime because of some of the advancement options you have when you know what to do for them. I haven't experienced the full-on grind fest that you're supposed to experience from these looter shooters so I can't speak on the experience when you don't play with someone who knows how to cheese your way to a bunch of OP gear.
