Barotrauma is some of the most fun you can have with a group of friends, trapped in a tiny metal coffin slowly being crushed at the bottom of an alien sea.

Early Access Review
Having played the game for just over 40 hour at the time of this review, I can safely say I do enjoy The Isle (or DID), because at the time of writing there is a bug spreading through the Legacy Branch (The Main Branch) that effectively renders the game unplayable. Upon clicking "Host" and setting your server settings, it is possible the game will cut to a black screen and never load while continuing to play the ambient main menu sounds...

On top of this, the email for The Isle's Support given through Steam doesn't exist, and even after I directly messaged Punchpacket (one of the games developers who specifically mentions he is open to any questions regarding The Isle in his Steam Profile) I was ignored and still haven't heard anything back in years.

Is The Isle a good game, yes, but with Legacy currently broken for many players, and the developers more interested in working on the Evrima branch which is currently still vastly inferior to Legacy, I cannot recommend The Isle.

The Isle has so much potential, and in most cases the developers seem to care about making it a great game. If this issue is addressed in the future, I will likely change this review, but for now, take this as a warning, if you buy this game, you may also encounter the "Black Screen" bug, and the developers are unwilling or unable to correct it as the community have been reporting it in greater and greater numbers for the last few years.

Space Engineers is a great game, with nearly infinite things to do, but it's important to understand a few things before I can recommend Space Engineers to just anyone...

Firstly, I've been playing this game basically since it came out, before planets, before multiplayer, before most of the things that now make Space Engineers the game it is. My first time playing the multiplayer with a buddy was what ultimately made me love the game as much as I do now, and if it weren't for that, I likely would have stopped playing by now. Basically, playing with friends versus alone makes a big difference.

Second, this is not the kind of game you can just pick up and play. It takes time to learn even some of the most basic mechanics, and ship design isn't something that can be done in minutes, it takes time, and practice to build ships that function flawlessly. The game expects you to understand everything from how gravity and inertia work to how complex multi-grid ships inevitably fail in the struggle against Klang.

The game has been receiving updates for 6 years and counting at the time of this review, and although the developers have started releasing small cosmetic DLCs, they don't fragment the player base, and they allow people who want to support the game a way to do so. The developers also listen to players, and when something about the game is unfair or unbalanced, it will usually get fixed quite quickly.

Another big thing to note is that this game isn't going to run on a potato PC, as most half decent PCs hate this game, and it even gives most gaming PCs a hard time. I have had several PCs since I started playing Space Engineers, and most of them the game ran very poorly, but I finally have a PC that can, for the most part handle the game running on decent settings with lots of grids and players all over the place. My recommendation is to be a fair bit above the minimum specs for the game or if possible, above the recommended if you want really good performance.

The fact that I've played the game as much as I have should be evidence that there is plenty to do and that I recommend the game, but there's more to it than that. This is a game that once you get good at, you start experimenting with complex weapons, more effective armor, improved factories, better mining equipment, or even just poking the sleeping bear that is Klang with overly complex designs. The possibilities are nearly endless, and there is a huge amount that can be done even in singleplayer.

In the end, if you don't mind taking some time to learn the basics, and don't mind that the first few ships you build will likely fail in spectacular ways or fail to function as intended, and you realize that eventually the games possibilities will open up, then this is a game I'd recommend. If, however, you are the instant gratification type that wants to hop into a PvP server and instantly obliterate everyone, this likely isn't the game for you and you may need to look elsewhere.

Sora is an amazing, fast paced, challenging, shoot 'em up where you play as a girl named Sora (Japanese for "Sky") who was born as the ultimate weapon to fight in a war.

Let me just skip to the end here and say: Sora is a great game and despite everything I say about it, it is most certainly worth your time, so check it out!

Plot:
******
Sora was born as the ultimate weapon to fight in a war that had been going on for ages. After her first battle in the gloomy, grey sky she glimpses the beautiful blue sky through the clouds before losing consciousness. When she wakes a man tells her of his dream to "clean up the sky" and make the planet a beautiful place to live again. The memory of what Sora saw beyond the grey hued clouds moves her heart and she asks if there is any way she can help. After that she fights a war of protection to defend those who wish to put an end to the war and save the planet from "dying".

Gameplay:
************
Sora is a fast paced bullet hell, shoot 'em up and at times can be quite challenging. Sometimes the screen is so filled with projectiles it can be hard to tell where you actually are and where enemies are (especially on higher difficulties). The weapon system is quite good: Beam weapons can be passed through by dashing to charge the hyper gauge and recover health, while "Live-Ammo" projectiles cannot be dashed through, but tend to move slower and do more damage. The dash is also worked into gameplay quite well, allowing quick maneuvers to deal damage without taking to much yourself.

Pros vs. Cons:
****************
Pros:
- Very fun, but still challenging gameplay.
- Amazing story and characters (They will stay with you long after you finish the game).
- Huge variety of weapons and weapon combinations.
- Incredible Soundtrack.
- Different playable modes such as arcade mode (All levels back to back) and match mode (Boss Rush).
- Record you best runs and watch the replays.
- Anime art style.

Cons:
- Story is a little too short and although very good, could have been developed further.
- Some weapons have very limited applications and are never used.
- Replays don't record certain parts of some levels (such as Credits and Cutscenes) meaning you have to replay levels to see them again.
- The game can be brutally difficult at times.
- Voice acting is absent from almost the entire game, except the end of the second-to-last level and the last level making it feel weird and out of place. (It is absent again in the secret "Bonus" level)

Final Words:
**************
As I said at the beginning of this review, Sora is a great game, and is most certainly worth your time. I have had more fun playing Sora than I have in a long time with most other games, and I game alot. If there is one thing to take away from this review make sure it's this: There are far worse uses of your time than Sora!

This game... THIS GAME... IS FUN!

Let me explain further. Arma 2 Combine Operations (Which is Arma 2 Base and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead) is a very impressive military simulator. Don't get me wrong though, it ain't no Call Of Duty, but that's why I like it. It forces realistic tactics and makes you slow down and take your time with every mission and objective. Now, no game is perfect, and Arma 2 is no exception. Arma 2 does have some performance issues, but most of those can be fixed by lowering settings. Here are just a few of the Pros and Cons of Arma 2 Combine Operations:

Pros:
******
- Graphics: Looks great for when it was made, but still runs on less powerful PCs as well.
- Fun Gameplay: Realistic tactics are required if you want to succeed in many of the missions. You may even find yourself using real military terms to talk to friends without it feeling forced.
- Multiplayer: Its good for a game like this to have some form of organised Multiplayer Servers and Local Hosting.
- Mod Support: With the use of Mod Folder, modding is easy, and the modding community for Arma 2 is amazing. You can get anything from AC-130 Gunships and B-2 Stealth Bombers to Panzer IVs and P51 Mustangs.
- Gamemodes: There is tons of gamemodes from standard deathmatches to organized, objective based sandbox modes.
- Mission Editor: There is a mission editor that allows you to create your own missions or just mess around with different units, weapons, and vehicles.

Cons:
*******
- A few performance issues.
- A little expensive to buy unless its on sale, although it is worth the price for the amount of gameplay you get.
- Not always exciting gameplay you will become paranoid about everything that remotely sounds like a gunshot.
- The Learning Curve is so steep it has an Overhang. This game is incredibily Hard to learn how to play well.
- Some of the Campaigns are glitchy, and the AI can occasionally bug out.

Over all it comes down to: "Should I Buy this game?". I would say: "Yes, Arma 2 Combine Operations is a very fun game to play alone or with friends, and for the price you get tons of content, and with mods, the content becomes virtually endless!". So yes, you should give Arma 2 Combine Operations a try if you ever get a chance!

Saints Row: The Third
This game has it all, Zombies, PMCs, VTOLs, Gangsters, an Open World, a huge Sandbox Environment, Co-op Support, EVERYTHING!

If your looking for a game to play alone or with friends, Saints Row: The Third is the game for you. Saints Row: The Third does what GTA does without taking itself to seriously, yet it never quite gets to Saints Row 4 levels of crazy-phyco-bonkers.

So if you are looking for a fun game with a decent story to play alone or with friends, I strongly recommend Saints Row: The Third!

Terraria is an amazing game to build, hunt, fight and survive in. For those who want more options out of a game Terraria is a great, and even after all these years the developers are still updating the game!

To The Moon has one of the most well written, heart touching, emotional plots of any game today. If someone said tomorrow ``We are thinking of making To The Moon into a movie.`` I would argue that it would be one of the best movies of all time. In To The Moon as you travel back through a dying mans memories to give him his final wish before he dies you learn about his entire life and a sad story begins to play out in front of you. By the end of To The Moon you will definitly have tears in your eyes over everything you have witnessed. I believe everyone should definitly play To The Moon and experience this life altering plot for themselves.
