Superb game, immersive and rewarding.
Progression though steady can be speeded up, but I'd suggest doing some research into the mechanics of the game like safe areas, and unlocking landing zones etc.
Considering this is only Alpha state, I cant wait to see what they develop,
Graphics on full, the environment is stunning,

No idea why I waited so long to play this gem, but life and online games seemed to get in the way. It looked a bit dated so I grabbed the 4k texture pack and it improved the visual way beyond my expectations.
The game itself is simple in its mechanics, but it still works, its action packed, visceral and totally chaotic. But the cut scenes and story some how many to give rest between the chaos, and it all balances out nicely.
Max is his usual self, gritty, depressed, but endearing self.

If you liked the first 2 games, and haven't played this, I would highly recommend it. If you haven't played the first two, it is still a worthwhile purchase, but you maybe wont get as much out of it.

The anticheat is ridiculous, but the game is superb,
It has a reputation for cheaters, but its no worse than any other game I've played online (cs, pubg)
Often its merely down to disparity in gear/loadout imo

Since the update, just crashes to desktop on startup. Tried for days to fix using every ounce of info found online, but nothing fixes it.
For what its worth, when it did work, it was awesome. Its quake, which for pure deathmatch is still the best there is imo...

Latest update ruined a game that had incredible promise.
There is now a huge gap between new players and experienced, that will be insurmountable for most.

You start and wont have gear, if you get gear, you cant use it unless you grind for a full set of gear, at which point you'll be able to play the harder map, against pros and people who also have the same gear but better. You'll die, you'll start the grind again....... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME,

Dev's and sweats ruined the game, and the player count will drop and drop and drop. Not to mention any gear you manage to get between now and the next update will be wiped anyway, meaning you'll start AGAIN.

A masterpiece, plain and simple

Its very hard to describe how significant this game was, there'd never been anything quite like it, and there never will be again

I'll start by saying I got this whilst it was on offer, at full price it really isn't good value.

I was put off this DLC due to all the bad reviews, but after playing it through, I can only recommend it to anyone who loves DXMD.
Its basically a side mission, but a nicely padded out one, with new music, atmosphere and challenges.
I know the reviews are bad, but of the DLC available for DXMD, I enjoyed this one by far the most.

Basically, if you love DXMD, and this is on offer, dont hesitate,

Basically its Carmageddon 3, but with updated graphics and a few cool tweaks.
However, "checkpoint stampede" is annoying and randomly difficult to the point of being near unplayable at times. This is due to the first checkpoint spawning miles away from you at the start, and then seemingly only ever spawning next to clusters of opposition drivers. I'd rather just drive round smashing the crap out of opponents like the good old days, rather than chasing ever moving checkpoints, with police cars attacking only me.

This is my setup, and I cant run this game, even on lowest settings.
Lags like hell when playing sinlge player, all 4 cpus on 100% load, and drops from 100fps to 10 meaning it stutters constantly and is unplayable. Spent months trying all sorts of fixes and nothing works.

I'd advise you save your money and opt for a battlefield title, far better optimized and is actually playable.

A great game, that requires that you take the time to learn how it works, and how best to play it in order to succeed and enjoy to its fullest. But hasn't the harsh learning curve that games such as CS and Q3 tend to have.
Game design and overall feel to the game is very well polished, and the graphics despite the old engine still manage to hold up.
Certainly unlike any online game I have played, and well worth a try if you're considering !
