Fun little game, played so much of the demo before this came out, grabbed it as soon as it was fully released. I adore it, only complaint is that if you have a bigger monitor like I do, you might have issues with the game if you are playing fullscreen.

I just got a Ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor and when I booted this up, none of the menus were aligned with my mouse location. I just went from a smaller Ultrawide and it was ok with that one, so its just something with this resolution that is awkward.

I can still play but I have to play on Windowed mode.

Other than that, love trying to build a complex house and kill all the little human invaders, so fun.

As an artist, I love this. I want to game but I need to work, and this helps distract me when I need it, keep me focused because my brain sees this as a game and the music is so nice and chill. I bought this as soon as I could and even got this for my friend so they could play it too. It just ticks all the brain boxes to help me.

Edit: I just got to my second farm, I love that each farm is its own save, so I can go back to my first farm or work on my second one. I also love how much the game is updated for bugs. I think my only complaint is that i can't change the formatting once the farm is started but thats a small complaint and I get why its probably not feasible to swap from horizontal to vertical.

So first, I am a kickstarter backer, had this during Beta and played it and couldn't wait for this to come out. Absolutely love this game. The Devs are pretty active in their discord, same with the community in answering questions and helping. The game itself has good graphics which are cute and endearing. This is great for when you don't have a lot of time to play and just want to dive in for a few songs and then go do something else or just spend hours trying to get that perfect clear on a hard difficulty on a pesky song, etc.

Pros:
-You can play with local people or online with friends, which is great for me because my partner and I can try and play together or I can play with my mom locally(She's been wanting to play with me so this was a great little game for that).
-I can use my own songs. For me this was great and one of the big things I liked, I wanted to play to all those songs I love and know so well so being able to do that was great, and I could upload songs my mom might like too when we play.
-Story is cute has some nice character interaction and the art is clean and great. I love the band name for one of the characters, not sure if that is a little hint at another game but close enough I fell apart laughing at it and loved showing my friends who also play said other game.

Cons:
-The only one that really causes a problem for me is not being able to do custom songs in online multiplayer, I don't think local is a problem(not tested at this time) but I know its because the problems of music sharing so i'm not that upset. (Pretty sure the partner is happy since he doesn't have to struggle with my fast paced Electronic or Heavy Metal songs lmao)
-Minor one is that if you are playing with others and your screen is smaller, it can get cluttered and hard to see items when trying to swap out gear, this might be a lot more manageable on a widescreen or at different screen settings but I did find it a bit harder on one of my screens but I doubt this would be a problem for everyone.

At this time, overall, money well spent, I love the game, can't wait to get more into the game and unlock the last character(s) and play all my favorite songs.

Compared to the first game, this is much less scary and feels more like easy mode. Not a bad thing per say, let me focus on the story more and the interactions between Robin and her 'friend'(to not give spoilers). As far as creature design I felt it lacked a little, felt a little too based on earth's creatures compared to the first game where everything felt so alien. So much squid inspiration everywhere.
As far as story went it started much faster than the first game were it took a while to really start to get into things, I liked I had 3 different stories to progress that all were a little intertwined. Just would have been nice to know a little more of what happened to everyone but otherwise, really good plots.
The biggest gripe is the ending, felt like so much buildup with the music and just how Robin's friend talked about what they might feel and then... nothing. So I don't know if this is meant to mean a 3rd game but I would have liked some closure on that end.

Overall felt solid from a building point and everything else, would say a good 8.5/10

Very chill crafting survival game. I love that you can mine the world, the ground disapears and you can move the earth, you can cut down trees and farm and fight monsters and things just like other games, but theres a feeling of 'the world is your oyster' that I don't get in other games. Theres so much detail in the building mechanics that makes it annoying to learn at first, but honestly very realistic, like how the smoke will interact with things and needs ventilation from a house. Its just details like that that really make the game feel good to me and its so small and easy to download and play that I am glad I can play it on my potato of a laptop even when i'm out of town.

If you want a simple quick mostly mindless game to play, this is great for it. There is only one point that required any thinking for me, mostly it was pretty easy for any normal person who has played some puzzle type games.

Graphics are nice looking in their simplicity and the sounds really blend well with the game.

I enjoyed it for a quick 30 minute run through of a game to unwind. I might play through it one more time just to get that last hidden achievement but overall, I enjoyed it.
