So, not expecting to play more then 15min I tried the demo and I was right. I played about 15 min and quit long enough to buy and install the full game :) I'm now almost 300 hours in, on my second playthrough and game is still enjoyable for me. I am not normally a single player gamer, but this one hits the right balance of smooth top-down gameplay, the mood isn't serious which I love, but depending on your settings it can still be difficult.

Game doesn't look like much, but it keeps your entertained! The small details and easter-eggs are a nice touch in places as well.

100% recommend for anyone who likes top-down, light-extraction type games.

Fun game, but dev needs to work on the stability and bugs before adding stupid features like parkour.. Multiplayer looses player data all the time, connections are unstable if they connect at all. Workers are better then they were but will stop doing what you told them a lot... I get its EA and all, but these are game breaking bugs.. after 100+ hours of multiplayer, to have everything reset on you and anyone you were playing with is a deal breaker to keep playing. The game isnt good enough to want to re-do everything we did so far so we are giving up on it until he fixed the BS.

Its an arcade style game where you run a gauntlet of enemies while you choose options that shape your turtles skills as you power up. There are currencies in game that you can upgrade things like overall health and hit/crit chances that are kept between runs.. Within runs you will level your turtle each time, trying new powers and combos to see what works for you and your playstyle. Keep in mind, this is a LOT of running in, hitting a few times then dodging out of combat while filling special attacks. Expect to die a number of times in runs as thats sort of the point, to keep skilling up until your able to defeat the whole thing.

As for the theme, it works really well. Turtles arent annoying and game itself is enjoyable once you figure it out. 20 hours in ive gotten my money's worth. I do like the online coop best, and the play with friends option works well, just have them connect and run a couch coop game and your good to go.

Simple Concept, Creepy Atmosphere, Multiplayer and Cheap on the wallet. Perfect!

Nice little VR tech demo.. It's fun for 10-15 min then your ready to move on, but that's all it needs to be. It looks fantastic, easy to fly with the controller setup, good sound, and a perfect intro if your sharing VR with someone who's new to it. Can't go wrong with the price. Worth checking out the next you're bored anyhow.

Like most "built for console but playable on PC" games there are lots of bugs and glitches typical of large companies like Ubisoft who answer to investors and timelines first, not its playerbase.

They made something flashy, and promoted it well, made thier money and will likely put some backseat interns to work on the DLCs while they take the main team to the next project. While that sounds bad, its also not new, so if you bought in expecting perfection that was your mistake. Do your research before you buy.

Now, if you just want a satisfying shooter, love co-op games, like modern military, and wanna log in and just chill for a few hours while you blow stuff up.. this is a game for you.

If your looking for some competition level PVP and indepth single player story.. look elsewhere, its that simple. Heck, I dont even think there is a mission that you do anything other then "kill a boss" or "protect this random NPC while they slowly do something" in the whole game. It shows the lack of creativity by the studio for sure.

Overall, its a simple game, without much to do, with fancy graphics and with even worse online code. So... typical AAA title release!

Pros: Best looking poker game IMO. Love the atmosphere, the charachters ect. Its a nice change from stale, top down tables, and avatars.

Cons: Game would be 100% better if there was simply an option to turn off Idle banter. I get this isnt a serious poker game, and its just casual, but it is a really good poker game and it would be nice if I could turn off the "at the table" chat between AI's, and just play the hands without the wait.

All i can say is that this game kicked my ass! :) though thats what i hear is its "thing" its meant to be hard.. and they did a good job at that.. I wouldnt play it online with people i dont know, or with a buddy, but if you have 4-8 buddies online you can coordinate with, it would be a great tactical top-down shooter..

Im going to not put it on recommendation for the fact that you do need a pre-set group.. not because its a bad game, but just because it will be hard for a casual player to hop in and out

Seems like a fantastic game, but still plagued with problems.. Took 15 min to change the controller to Keyboard & mouse because it seemed to pickup my joystick as a priority in the game and assigning the move & aim axis to my throttle.. and it kept reverting to "controller" when i swapped it.. After unplugging the joystick, it kept crashing every 5 or so minutes, or the menu wouldnt go away but the game played on in the background.. or lastly, my guy just ran in random directions like a stuck key...

hopefully it keeps getting updated.. it would REALLY be nice to see online Co-op..

Wouldnt recommend it for a PC gamer.. but if your a controller user, and have a buddy to play with it would be fun.

Its fun, its fast, and its simple.. what more do you want! :)
This is a great little top-down shooter for lans, or just getting some fustration out after a long day.. It's quite polished for its current stage.. runs smooth and lag free. I only wish it had 2 things.. 1) Larger player base.. Went online tonight and 0 people online to play with.. and 2) More interesting levels.. while they are FUN levels, they all sort of look similar so it would be nice for a few more enviroments.. minor nit-picks though, game is still great!

Certainly worth picking up a 4 pack to share with friends
