I don't really want to "not" recommend the game but right now I can't say I'd recommend it, either. What I can say is it it not at all intuitive. There doesn't appear to be a tutorial. It started me up on the tarmac and immediately expected I knew what I was doing. No way I can see to land even though landing gear is now down. From reading things I think I'm supposed to pick up cargo and sell it elsewhere (maybe) but I can't land to pick it up, right? I spent several crashed trying to figure out if I had a destination. After one crash, before it automatically took off, I was able to pull up a map and set a destination but I ran out of power trying to land there. Then it started me over and I took off and wasn't allowed to select a destination because I was already airborn (even though I was thrusting down to keep myself grounded). After reading through controls a lot of them don't seem to be listed on my controllers and I have to randomly mash buttons hoping to find them. With HOTAS the moving up/down/forwared/back/left/right was intuitive enough but the rest it seems like you'll need to spend a good bit of time watching other peoples' playthroughs to have any idea you're supposed to do in this game. I was hoping for a light, fun flight sim with exactly this sort of setting but right now I'm very disappointed in the clear lack of guidance from the game itself.

An enjoyable game. I've seen a lot of similar games. Playing early on there wasn't a lot to do but, once the plot updates came in, it became a lot more interesting. If you're struggling starting out make your way to the plot islands and follow the plot and see the story unfold.
