I've really come to love all of the Rusty Lake stuff. This was a nice celebration of a great universe.

Man, this game surprised me. Fun, puzzles make sense, and the dialogue which is fully voiced cracked me up most of the time. The only thing that bugged me (just a tiny bit) was that the sister's voice acting sounded like it was recorded from a Zoom meeting. Otherwise, just a short gem of a game.

I loved it. If it were at least a 4 to 5 hour campaign, I'd pay for it. Hope to see more from these guys.

I've been kind of on a binge playing free FPS games and this is one of them where I would totally pay for when they make the campaign a little bit longer. Really had a fun time with this one. Had to switch to easy mode on the end boss, but I typically suck at bosses, so this isn't new to me. Good job, guys. Hope to see more from you.

Great time with this short FPS. Add a full story and a little more polish and I'd pay for it. You guys did a great job. Not only did this give me a great time, but also brought me closer to Jesus. Just kidding, but great little game.

This game simply blew me away. I was reeling after finishing it. I'm not sure if I'll find something that will top this one. I'm hoping I will.

This one is pretty amazing. I've played a few rhythm games and I've loved a lot of them. I think SRXD might be my most favorite. I also bought the game and all DLC for one of my son's who's musical taste fits perfectly with the majority of the game charts. I've downloaded I think a thousand custom charts and weeded out a few that were really bad or just meme charts. But I've kept about a thousand I think. Beware if you get greedy like me and grab that many customs, the game will initially chug for a couple of seconds after clicking the Play button on the main screen. Seems that the game would benefit from some type of caching system for the chart list and thumbnails. Just a guess. I was talking to my wife about this game and why I love it so much. For me (as an actual musician) it's a combination of feeling like I'm playing an instrument and the feeling like I'm dancing. It's great. I like around 90% of the songs (including all the DLC), but my tastes are pretty eclectic and I like a wide range of normal music to weird ♥♥♥♥♥. I'm playing with an Xbox Elite 2 wireless controller BTW and it feels perfectly natural. I worked up from easy, then quickly to normal, and now getting very proficient with hard level. Anyway, that's my take on it. I would highly recommend if you like rhythm games. Go get you some, yo.

UPDATE START: +++++
I originally gave a thumbs down with a complaint that the secondary objectives were too difficult. Well I came back to the game and maybe more brain cells were working this time. The game forces you to really strategically use the joker (and other powers) cards that you have. It's easy. I'm not sure what my problem was a few years ago, but I finished the game tonight. Thumbs up. Now I'm going to go grab the sequel.
UPDATE END: +++++

OLD REVIEW: ------- (Disregard it)
Fun game. Don't buy it until the developers make it so you can pass a level with only clearing the cards. The secondary objectives like "clear 4 clubs in a row" is ridiculous. So when I say fun game, it is fun until you start getting those blocker objectives. I've played the same dang level over and over again because I cannot clear 4 clubs in a row no matter what, using powers, etc. It makes me not want to play this game anymore, which is a shame. I would have refunded if I knew it would block me from continuing the game because of these ridiculous mandatory objectives. Don't buy until you find out they changed this. Maybe add a setting where you can complete levels simply by clearing all the cards and maybe get an additional score bonus by clearing the secondary objectives. I just played again and I'm frustrated. I simply won't play this until they make some changes.

I love The Room franchise. The Room 2 is as incredible as their others. I would love to see them continue the series as I've played them all now. Hey Fireproof, will we see "The Room 5"??? PLEASE!

Background to my review:
Me and my wife were playing Titan Quest AE and I got a little ahead of her in level and progression. So she asked if I could stop for a bit and let her catch up. No problem with that, but I was looking for something to play in the meantime. I've really been staying away from buying Wolcen because the reviews scared me out of it. I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger and purchased Wolcen. If you love Titan Quest you will love Wolcen.

Only annoying bug that I've run into so far is that some of the tree stumps on some of the levels are invisible. So you basically see a floating top of the stump where the tree was cut. I'm sure that is low on priorities for them to fix, but it's the only issue I've seen, so I'm not so worried about it. Be cool if they fixed it though. It looks like the devs really support their product here, so kudos to them for that.

A tip: Act I is fairly easy to get through. Use that Act to get yourself leveled up as much as possible, get as much money from selling items, etc. Break everything and grab the coins as well. Act II it gets more difficult which is a good thing. So in Act I you might be saying to yourself, "This is way too easy." but get through it, use the early lower difficulty to your advantage.

TL:DR; If you love Titan Quest, I think you will love Wolcen. I fully recommend this game.
