Much like the hero in the game's story, I felt myself being pulled deeper the further I went in El Paso, Elsewhere. It's Max Payne turned a few degrees. You kill a lot of vampires, werewolves, even a strange puppeteer or five. The controls are tight enough to help you do it in style, especially in that Payne-like slow mo.

You'll stay for the story though. That's what puts its hooks in you and pulls you deeper. Get those headshots, find that next elevator, get that next hit to the heart. Or to the ears, from the soundtrack.

I think I'll remember this game for a good long while. Like I do a couple others: CrossCode, for one; Haven, for another. If you're looking for another good time. Anyway, I think you should give this one a go.
