Unoptimized.

On Steam Deck, with all settings at their lowest, the framerate shifts between high 20s to low 40's while swinging. There's input lag, making hitting a shot difficult, and slight misses can hit the ball out of bounds or in water.

Even if you have a more powerful rig, the dumb TikTok-style golfer dances and handful of repeated quips demonstrate HYDE's failure to advance the series in any kind of meaningful way.

On December of 2024, Just Cause 2 was working Just Fine on Steam Deck via Proton Experimental.

Square-Enix decided to mess with a 14-year old game and now you won't be able to boot it.

Now, it's Just Broken.

RIP, Rico Rodriguez 2010-2024.

Great game, but Steam needs to mention that the game requires the Epic launcher.

Although Persona-thirsty PC owners might have probably tolerated a barebones port of Persona 4 Golden, Atlus’ adaptation is largely commendable. Sure, Studio Hibari’s cutscene’s are plagued by artifacting, which becomes especially noticeable on larger monitors. But otherwise, the team has established a pleasing precedent for future adaptations. (P3FES, please?)
There are no framerate settings in the game’s menus, permitting P4G to run as fast as your hardware allows. For anyone with decent rig, that means solid sixty frame-per-second performance even the rendering quality and aliasing cranked up. Image quality is especially nice, with upscaled character portraits and texturing. P4G might not look like a native PC title, but it looks a lot better than PlayStation TV output. When it comes to audio, you can select between Japanese or English voice-overs, while the presence of Steam achievements and trading cards is an amiable dividend.

Here's the two imporant things most Steam reviewers are forgetting: it's an idle clicker and it's free!

As the name implies, MatchyGotchy pays homage to the Tamagotchi toys that every cool kid had on one of their belt loops in the '90s. This time out, you are raising stars, who happily build rockets all day, all in an effort to find Xanadu. To keep your little stars happy, you'll have to divert them from the woes of slave labor, but keeping them fed, giving them the occasional piece of candy and playing with them. It's all deliberately simple and better for it.

Despite some problems with the speed of combat and a few additional transgressions with the localization, Criminal Girls: Invite Only remains a diverting journey through the underworld. Sure, the game’s battles might be plodding, but the pace might be forgivable for those hoping to experience a bit of Eastern-influenced kink. It’s just a shame that NIS America didn’t push the envelope a bit more. As it stands, bowdlerizing the Girls isn’t criminal, just a bit disheartening.

Both dates and carnal connections are represented by a playfield of iconic shapes. Initially, players might try to rely on their gem-shifting experience with Bejeweled, but they’ll likely become stymied when trying to earn the required number of points to successfully complete a date. Instead, gamers have to carefully use each of their limited number of turns to make matches of icons that correspond to each woman’s preference.

Captivatingly, there’s a number of factors that complicate this process. Removing a succession of pink hearts has the ability to raise the player’s passion multiplier. The trick is determining how often to do this. Go into the date strong and you’ll surely raise your potential to earn points, but there’s also the possibility of squandering turns on increasing a multiplier instead of actually scoring points. As such, it’s akin to the small, but significant romantic gestures that can make or break a real-life romantic outing.

Adult Swim Games has an established track record of publishing quirky, off the wall indie games. These are often inspired by old 8-bit classics from past console generations and their newest release is no exception. Mega Coin Squad is clearly inspired by Super Mario 3 and it makes no attempt at hiding this fact, emulating the look and feel of the NES classic while adding its own twist on the concept.
