I've been enjoying Battlefield 6 from the beta all the way through release and I have to say: DICE is truly listening to their community. The difference between beta and launch wasn’t massive but enough to show that feedback matters.

The introduction of RedSec really took the game to the next level for me. It’s intense, engaging and finally shifts the focus towards more skill-based combat rather than the old “gas camping” meta. RedSec captures that chaotic close-quarters combat feeling. I've had plenty of moments where I've felt the fire up my ass trying to outsmart an enemy squad in tight corners. I also enjoy how your choice of class actually matters in RedSec. If I want the speed of an Assault class but still try to snipe, my aim suffers because the class isn’t optimized for it. That kind of balance and trade-off adds a really smart layer to the gameplay. Gauntlet is also a fantastic addition for those who enjoy smaller objective-based maps with high-stakes competition. It’s fast-paced and constantly keeps you on your toes.

That said, if I could change one thing it’d be the tanks in RedSec. They feel a bit too OP especially if you don’t have an RPG on hand. With so many reload stations they can roll from start to finish with endless resupplies and repairs. A bit more balance here would go a long way.

Beyond that this feels like a huge step up from recent titles. The last Battlefield game I sunk serious time into was Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 6 finally brings back that feeling of "just one more round." Not just the BR mode either, the full game is worth your time.

I’d love to see some classic map returns or even new creative ones. A combined Manhattan conquest map with full-on urban warfare? YES PLEASE!

Overall: Highly recommend Battlefield 6. It’s fast tactical and full of potential. DICE is on the right track and if they keep building on this the best is yet to come.

Removing the ingame currency to buy you battlepass is ridiculous. Anything to make an extra buck.
