I waited until the raid to review this travesty of a dlc, because deep down I tricked myself into thinking it would "fix" it.
The story is awful, strand is nothing special, the new content is the exact same stuff we have been playing for years at this point.

Crucible has consistently gotten worse and worse. Every season it manages to become the worst its ever been. An endless downward spiral. Lightfall continues this trend. If you enjoy PvP, stay the hell away.

Strikes were artificially made far more difficult and the shortest strikes were extended a huge amount. The strike playlist is also in an awful state.

Gambit has been completely untouched for yet another year. A creative gamemode left to rot.

The raid is a blatant rehash of witch queens. The leveling system is the same as ever. The game is plagued with endless bugs and error codes. No buffs to underperforming armor or subclasses which is most of them at this point.


Lightfall is a disappointing mess. Never underestimate bungies ability to find innovative new ways to over promise and underdeliver
