Game is nothing like it was first sold as in the trailers. It is just another garbage Gacha style game just without the normal Gacha pull for new characters. Story is utter trash and constant non stop talking of drivel barely get to do anything.

Combat is incredibly boring and easy, it might as well not exist as you just spam attacks and take 0 damage.

UI i s just copy and paste of every other Gacha game that exists.

I honestly thought Blue Protocol was supposed to be like the old anime MMORPGs that used to be really good. But its just another crappy Gacha game.

There is no point playing this at all. If you want a game like this play any of the many Hoyoverse games that are far better "Gacha" games.

I do not usually write reviews, but boy oh boy this game is the game I have been waiting for.

I love JRPGs, and Final Fantasy used to be my favourite. but every new release they stray further and further away from what I loved.

I love turn based combat, I love exploration, I love a big world map.

Square keep telling us that's not possible anymore or people don't want this anymore.

This game is beautiful and runs smooth as butter on my 3080.

The story is amazing and I am on the edge of my seat to find out whats going to happen next.

The combat is turn based with a twist ala souls like dodge mechanics. The story and characters are fantasy/Sci fi with a Nier Automata feel about them (imo).

DON'T be put off by the dodge mechanics! at first it annoyed me that my turn based combat was requiring some action based combat steps in the middle of it But wow the sense of achievement and the thrill of the combat is so much more with this. Once you get it down the combat becomes everything you love about turn based with some extra thrill.

I am so so happy I randomly saw a trailer for this pop up, I did not even know this game existed and when I saw the graphics and turn based game play on the trailer I was in awe and I was not disappointed on buying the game. It delivered on everything I hoped.

Beautiful Graphics, beautiful story, Great voice acting, Beautiful music, Exciting turn based combat, a World map!

Buy this game if you love the old JRPGs and have been waiting for a return with modern graphics, some modern features injected all without spoiling the beautiful Turn based RPG this is.

Game has stood the test of time. Very fun MMORPG even in 2024.

Game is addictive and huge already. Developer is listening very intently to feedback and making changes very quickly to respond to it.

Give the game a chance, there are of course small things that could be better, and I am very positive these will become better over time.

Garbage

Honestly surprisingly my favourite "Vampire Survivor like" so far.. and its free? So many original ideas such as weapon upgrades with stamps and skill enhancements and combos with anvils. And then the huge amount of characters that you unlock with a classic Character Gacha. Honestly the whole game is a treat to play, and i cant recommend it enough.

A great fun casual multiplayer "battle royale" game in the style of takeshis castle type game shows.

Juts innocent great fun sillyness.

Really good fun to just jump in for 30 mins now and again.

Awful, if you wanted Civ V with a space theme, this is not it. They have ruined the formulae, made it overly complicated and boring.
