How is this out of Early Access? Popped by the page to see the progress and saw this.

Where are the Dedicated Servers? Where is the content? Honestly, gave them the benefit of the doubt after Worlds Adrift because of their horrid networking choice of SpatialOS, but it seems nothing was learned.

This will be the last Bossa Studios game I will purchase.

Unfortunately you cannot Skip the ARC launcher which requires ADMIN access.

There is no reason for this level of access to my system.

EDIT: Apparently the sale to Coffee Stain has removed the ARC launcher. I will probably be repurchasing this and then updating my review.

EDIT: I did repurchase and the launcher was removed as they said. However, I did have trouble finding Q's Going to be trying out the new update now. But in the meantime will flip review as I did like what little I played.

And finally they have done what they should of at the start... proper Dedicated Self-hosted servers. Haven't had a look yet, but this is a major positive move, although I think it might be too late for the game.

---------------------------------------------------------

So, the new patch released with many updates and it is a huge improvement. Offline mode is still a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ implementation, and I hope that will be fixed to cut down on server load times.

Hopefully soon they will give the UI an overhaul. Crafting is overly tedious and trying to compare different clothes, weapons etc. is extremely tedious. Also, hotkeys for spells (example hold ctrl 1-3 to cast) on a weapon would be appreciated as when you hold R, it locks all movement until you release all keys and press again.

Overall they do seem to be moving in the right direction, so will flip my review in the meantime.

I really like the game and I think it has a lot of potential to do quite well in the future. The Fae mixed with Victorian steampunk is a great combo. The game still has many rough spots that will hopefully be smoothed out during the Early Access period. UI definitely needs a lot more polish and it could really do with some QoL issues.

Now the biggest issue. Online only. They are producing an offline mode and it can't come soon enough. I was going to wait to leave a review, but after their servers going down in SEA area and getting kicked from the game, then unable to get back in prompted me to leave this review. Once the offline mode is in I will flip this recommendation.

I do understand what they are going for with these realms being server side to allow multiple people to explore the same realm, but honestly I believe that to be a niche case. Ideally, they should have gone with a Remnant type model where you can invite people (p2p with host running realm). The current load times of "waiting for Server" means I honestly avoid realm jumping atm and try to keep it to minimum which is precisely the antithesis of the game.

UPDATE: What a terrible implementation of offline mode. wow talk about taking feedback and getting it totally wrong.

I had high hopes for KSP2. Thought it was going to be the "big fix" for all the physics issues and other problems in KSP1. The devs spoke a good game and sold the vision... however something when horribly wrong.

I am not sure if it was upper management pushing it or other factors but the game was released in a absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up state. It was by all metrics unplayable. The cadence of "fixes" have been the cadence of the universe, measured in millennia.

Do I think this will ever be released/fixed, my gut tells me no. If it ever starts to measure up to what was sold, I might change my review, but stay very very very far away from this until such time.

Yet another "big publisher" publisher polluting the Early Access system.

EDIT: It now comes out that it was NOT a rewrite of the game to make stuff work properly, but it used all the previous code, so Multiplayer etc. would never have worked. Also, it has now been abandoned. If you need any more reason to stay away from take2, here is yet another one.

So Far the game has been great. I do enjoy the changes made from Early Access to Release.

However I have ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT. I gave my Gold Dragonborn some golden orbs and there is NO JIGGLE physics! This is a deal breaker!!!

10/10 would try jiggle my balls again!

If this doesn't win Game of the Year I will be shocked!

This review is NOT about the game.

Trying to sneak in Spyware for marketing 2 years after release... Kinda reminds be of Bethesda sneaking in more denuvo after their release and major sales.

On the positive, they removed it very quickly after the backlash, but the complete lack of forethought in the current climate to even THINK of doing this speaks to a complete lack of judgement.

This is the only way I can protest this sort of thing as I already own the game. I will not be purchasing their new game Rogue Trader because of this.

EDIT: Just to add... They knew it was a bad idea and still did it.

We are not putting Appsflyer to Rogue Trader in any way or form, nor it is going to be used for Pathfinder - we've completely shut down any activity in this direction. It was a bad idea born from best intentions to more effectively promote Wrath of the Righteous, but it's crystally clear that it's not even remotely worth it. It's extremely harmful for the studio's reputation, pisses off and frustrates our community, and doesn't feel right even for ourselves. Good riddance.

Of all the builder games, this is one that is the most technical. Kind of a Oxygen not included mixed with Space Engineers.

The control scheme does take some getting used to, but once you do, it is not really a hindrance. Currently it is going through a massive rework for netcode, and am looking forward to playing the update.

EDIT: Just keeps better and better with more complex systems that provide plenty of challenge to keep you building. Also, more opportunities to blow yourself up. :)

What a surprise this game has turned out to be. It is by far the closest feel to the pen and paper version.

Game plays well overall and have been enjoying my experience with it. The Dungeon Maker and workshop campaigns are a great touch for extra content.

The UI while fine could do with a bit of polish. ie. visual indicators of what that character cannot use and maybe some sorting options.

All in all very pleased with my time in the game so far.

While this might or might not be a good game, that constant background whispering is just too much to endure. Even doing the tutorial was enough to drive me insane.
