The greatest feeling ever is when you have to solve an impossible physics problem. You start off with humble pen and paper and write down all you know and start chipping away, but soon it becomes a jumbled mess of snaking equations and contradictions. So you look everywhere for help: through the arcana of dusty library books, online forums from the '90's hieroglyphical papers, incomprehensible talks, anything. You walk through promising daed ends and take many steps back. Then when all hope is lost a glimmer of brilliant inspiration arises. You start feverishly wadingthrough rough waters and then end up sailing across uncharted seas. Finally you sit back looking over the tens of pages you penned like a madman and stand in awe at how you were able to chip away, however little, at some of the most profound secrets of the Universe with just your mind.
