I've played a number of these style of Store Simulators, TCGS being one of them.. However, none have hooked me to the degree as Retro Rewind has. It comes in with a notch better polish than I'm used to in the genre. The graphics have this awesome aesthetic that really does put you in the era. The gameplay loop is great and addicting. There's very rarely a moment of downtime. The card collection inspired system behind the VHS's adds so much to my enjoyment. Its also incredible seeing your store start as a random hodgepodge of mixed tapes to a store of identy, with a carefully curated VHS library of good movies (or bad). Can't recommend this game enough and am every excited to see how it evolves.
