I bought it forever ago when it was just Sam's Club Phasmophobia, but the devs have honestly put in tons of work building this game up bit by bit. It's a fun co-op experience, but not the type of game you'd want to play solo IMO. I havent tested the VR mode yet, but it's awesome they've added all that. For 5 bucks it's well worth it.

Early Access Review
I found the first Slime Rancher game thanks to GamePass and sunk an ungodly amount of hours into it. It was the perfect comfy game, so when I saw the announcement trailer for the sequel I got super excited. I normally am against early access and pre-orders, but I took a risk with this one. 20 hours into it and I'm having an absolute blast. It's still for sure early access and you can tell, but really just for lack of content than anything else. So, if you played the first one and want more - give it a shot! If you haven't? I'd recommend playing the first one instead because it's finished and has plenty of content, although the sequel is shaping up to be bigger and better all around.

Purchased on sale, for around $15 USD

This game was VERY cool.
Fun and simple card game mechanics, a neat story, and several different takes on the same gameplay loop.

It functions pretty neatly as a hybrid of rougelike and card game, with some minor horror and escape room vibes. I bought it yesterday and then proceeded to be stuck to my chair for 12 hours straight.

A modern Halo that happens to be more fun than actual modern Halo. Movement is solid, gunplay is great, portals are hella cool.

Fun game, but it has some pretty annoying issues. Also, ignore my time played, more than once I left my pc on after falling asleep with the game running.
7/10
Pros:
-excellent visuals and graphics
-dope soundtrack featuring The Hu, as well as very classic Star Wars-y instrumentals
-neat characters, some of whom are played by well known actors and entertainers

Cons:
-buggy. more than once I found myself in a 'whoops you fell off the map' death loop where the game respawned me above where I fell, until i ran out of health.
-controls are not good. Using a controller they are serviceable, but KB/M controls are abysmal.

Everything about this game feels okay, except actually playing it. It feels clunky, directionless, and just....not smooth. Respawn has made some wonderful games in the past, most notably Apex Legends and the Titanfall games, all which have butter-smooth controls. However in this game, it feels like they did not know how to take that smooth control feel that they have in their FPS titles and translate it into an RPG.

As of now, I have not beat the game, and as such my review is PURELY based on the gameplay and features of this game.
So far, however, the campaign is enjoyable, if shallow, much like modern Star Wars.

Overall, I'd recommend the game if you catch it during the Summer Sale, like I did, but personally I couldn't recommend spending more than 30 USD on this game unless you're a massive Star Wars fan,

I'll update this review upon beating the campaign, assuming that the doodoo controls don't burn me out and make me want to quit lol.

-------------------------------------EDIT:------------------------------------------------
So, I beat the game. The final fight you get cucked by a cutscene, but it was alright. The ending felt a bit hollow, and there is no post-game outside of New Game +, which sounds not so fun, given the bad controls.

My final verdict? 7/10, same as before. Nothing really mind blowing about this game, but it's fun enough. Grab it on sale if you've been on the fence about it.

The final(?) entry in CDPR's Witcher series, coming with improvements on every aspect of the series so far.

Pros:
-Incredible visuals. While they weren't what we were promised at their original demo, it's still gorgeous.
-Fantastic protag. Geralt gets better with age, I like him more here than I have in the first or second games.
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of sidequests. I have over 170 hours without beating the main quest, or owning any dlc.
-Fun, but not overly difficult combat. If Shadow of Mordor is easy mode combat, and Dark Souls is hard mode (it's really not tho git gud lole), then this is a happy medium. Learn to parry and itemize for each foe and you'll be fine.
-Amazing storyline and great characters. Bloody Baron in particular was a wonderfully wild ride.

Cons:
-Not as pretty as it could've been
-Don't try using Hairworks w/o a decent Nvidia card. Killed the fps on a 970 and a 290x.

all in all, buy this game. It's my favorite RPG of all time and one of my top 5 games.

MESS WITH THE BULL, YOU GET THE WANG.
This game plays a lot like Doom 2016 does, in the sense that you're a one man army ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over an endless horde of demons, except you have dope-ass magic powers.

Like to slaughter things? Buy this.
Liked DOOM 2016? Buy this.
Like snarky, poty-mouthed protags? Buy this.

It's fun man, try it out.

I've beat the game before on a different Steam account, so ignore the low play time.

Fun game, great visuals, ran fine at 1080p with an FX6300 and an R9 290x w/ 16gb ddr3. I've upgraded since, but the game is built well.

Only issue is it's a bit short and the combat is on the easy side, a lot like Assassin's Creed or the Batman Arkham games. Oh and the ending is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid as hell. Other than that, it's a solid game that's worth the purchase. The Nemesis system is pretty heckin' cool.
