honestly as a long time fan of the game series and someone who bought this game twice (one for my ps5 and one for pc) and on both systems it ran poorly and i don't feel inclined to put another cent into the idiot ceo nepo baby who just calls me poor despite me buying his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game twice, yes they have attempted to fix said optimisation but they still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up again. Like are we being for real this is a game apparently worth its higher price tag what a crock of ♥♥♥♥. i've never had a game be so badly optimised i had to refund it in a heart beat and make me literally throw up from motion sickness (yes that is also partly on me for my health issues but aren't that bad its never happened in a game before). we all know gaming is dying and this can't be more true, indy games are made by less people and 1000000% less budget and turn out better just not an excuse period use some of randy pitchfords prostitute funds on game testers. I hate to inform those as i was too at first viewing this game with rose tinted glasses its also just ♥♥♥♥ gameplay wise, the story is actually really good but the gameplay is still the same ♥♥♥♥ from previous titles the mission objectives almost all summarise to pointlessly hitting or pressing interact on a switch for the 10,000th time or kill enemies in certain are but somehow even more tedious, while some legendaries are cool as hell most have zero personalty as i'm aware there is design fatigue and you can't have infinite ideas but come on another gun that just gets bonus damage or firerate from doing X or another vague pop culture reference, lastly the no.1 tactic that has successfully baited all of us yet again (myslef included at the time) nostalgia bait, its got to a point a listen to dialoge with character you knew previously and after the seconds of hype, i want to drive home this isn't about just being scornful no i love borderlands it got me through some dark times with its quriky attitude and jokes but this is a hollow shell filled with massive empty space trying to trick you into buying its $110 price tag (AUD) and sucking another $70 for cut content i really don't think its the devs faults at all i do believe they share some blame but we know who ruined this franchise, please if your a new fan to the series i highly recommend the second game in the series you can get it for dirt cheap and the amount of character and fun in that game is insane i love it to bits, in conclusion ♥♥♥♥ you randy go ♥♥♥♥ another woman you have to pay to even touch you, i don't even know if a single person person will read this but please don't attack anyone on the dev team (maybe leave randy a nice comment on his twitter :>) but please your opinions are valid if you love this game im proud of that, be passionate of the media you enjoy and be happy and i hope it helps you through a dark patch of life as it did mine i love you borderlands sincerely but i have to accept the golden era was gone a while ago and i guess that apart of maturing.

i dont often make reveiws but this game is a literal 10/10 WTF

Genuinely feel likes a $20 dlc price for a brand new game my recommendation play borderlands 2 with mods cost like $15.

Pathetic bungie, I had to leave my first review because it’s just that bad.

Flaws

* cool cold oasiris has turned into a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥

* nimbus is fun but seriously off tone

* the campaign is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing and obvious cliffhanger bait

* grind isn’t actually that bad this season, still annoying

* legendary campiagn isn’t fun difficult it’s obviously bumped up in difficulty so you buy the campaign skip money hungry mfs

* quite literally just a money grab DO NOT BUY

I will still continue because of my nostalgia and love of the community but if your interested in this game 1 of 2 options

1. Watch YouTubers who are genuinely entertaining and add to the content of destiny and save your money

2. Play a gacha you might do better to literally just throw your money down someone’s else throat ( my point being bungie has turned into a money hungry company that can no longer piggy back off the activision excuse)
