I was only able to get about an hour in before my old ass got too sleepy and my shoulder started hurting from being in the same chair at my desk for 10 hours already. Gameplay was fun, controls were a little weird at first but I was able to figure that out quickly by just pressing buttons. I also saw one YouTuber with the wandering eyes of a narcotics addict that talks with the same cadence of Donald Trump crying about the game before it even got released. I'm sure he's one of the people that can't wrap his head around the controls.

Running the game on ultra with no obvious stutters so the Denuvo complainers can stop complaining about that. I've seen some complaints about the inventory system. That's something that can be fixed. I've seen complaints about the price, that's something that can be fixed....by yourself. I've seen complaints about the story. People praise Skyrims story but its hand down the weakest plot of any of TES games, including the MMO.

All in all I'm excited to keep playing when I didnt already put 10 hours of work.

UPDATE: Games fantastic. My one complaint so far is that gliding needs to have its stamina cost significantly reduced or removed entirely. Such a cool feature that you can only use for......3 seconds.

UPDATE 2: The day after update 1 they made gliding much better. If I have the power to make updates appear one day after posting it......make an autopath feature for riding on horseback like BDO has. Roads have 4 way intersections every other minute and the path you take isn't always the right path forcing you to pause the game and check the map far too often. Hopefully my update powers are real. Oh and let us fly around with the black crow wings like a death eater from Harry Potter.

Idk what happened but player mentality 180'd over 3 days. I went from being shot at one time in 40 hours to getting shot gun blasted any time I loot something.

I'm old, my reflexes suck and I should be wearing glasses. I simply cannot compete like that anymore, and I just can't in good conscious spend game time collecting and building just to have it taken away by somebody with better bowel control. I'll come back when there is a PvE mode. I'm just gonna play Tarkov PvE until then.

Don't recommend currently.

Graphics look goofy and have the added benefit of running like crap because of the nightmare that is UE5.

Building is clumsy and you have to walk around clicking an a stupid amount of tiny dots to build.

Starting inventory size is like 10 slots and nothing stacks so you can't even build a complete lean-to structure without running out of space for the stuff.

The worst part is that I would probably deal with/mod these other issues but with UE5 why bother.

Idk how anybody can recommend this over MD.

Really good game, my only gripe is that there wasn't enough side content. The side content we did get was all great stuff though. All story. Just needed more.

My play time is nowhere near accurate. For some reason this game doesn't like going off that "Stopping" status in steam. It's probably closer to 30-40 ish.

EDITED REVIEW: Another UE5 ♥♥♥♥ show nightmare.

And then to add to it some gaeboi social media cuck took it upon themselves to post some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the internet.

Any game dev with a bluesky account should be punched in their various genitals.

First boss kept handing my ass to me. After some time I decide to lower the difficulty, not paying attention to the fact that you won't be able to move it back up. Beat the first boss, try to raise it back up. Whoops.

10/10 would railroad my first play through again.
