Very fun smash'em-up and gun'em-down arcade racing without all the bloated story BS like other racing games. Drop in and go straight to 2-3 minutes of mayhem. The heart of Carmageddon is there, blended with the DeathRace movies style cars and terminal island tracks, and gameplay similar to GasGuzzlers. Have been with Carmageddon since the beginning, and I find this game to be a fun and refreshing change of pace. The soundtrack is reminiscent of FearFactory with the twangy DOOM sounds like Mick Gordon which feel pretty perfect for the gameplay. The graphics are great and plays amazing on PC. Each death bring new life into the gameplay as you slowly unlock everything FROM PLAYING AND NOT FROM MICROTRANSACTIONS! I'm excited to see what more this team can add to the game as it has some serious potential to be opened up into what all the haters miss about OG C. Absolutely loving the side-bash mechanism.

Notes: Controls are heavily set to oversteer by default so I would suggest a setting of 20-25%. This will make it MUCH easier to drive the cars.

I regret getting this as a gift. 30 years of playing NFS and this is the worst embarrassment to the franchise. Everything is terrible. The menu, the characters, the voicing, the "art", the music, the handling...everything.. its the bottom of the barrel in every way.
