After the first 5 levels in the game, I wasn't ready to stop. Looking forward to the full release of this game as the demo was quite enjoyable.

Early Access Review
I loved Paragon when it originally came out and was so excited for a return. Unfortunately, this game is not at all friendly for new players. I understand the basics of MOBAs and how they work, so I at least come in with that knowledge, but as far as the meta in the game, what the characters do, and just practicing the feel of how everyone plays with one another... it's unforgiving. I'm just getting thrown right in with experience players, getting my ass kicked, getting discouraged the entire time, and pissing off my teammates cause they have someone dragging the team down.

The player base doesn't seem to be large enough to make splitting it by any sort of skill/ranking system feasible and the only way you can play against bots is by setting up a custom match and adding bots there. However, grinding any of the free currency to unlock characters can only be done through PvP, meaning players learning the game can't work towards unlocking anyone.

It's a shame cause mechanically, it feels good and I like the game. It's just not fun when only the PvP experience seem to matter to the devs and the PvP experience sucks for anyone new to the game.

I received a key for this game and just got done playing it for a few hours and will definitely be coming back to play more. It's a fun game that while playable solo, is definitely better with friends. It has some jank, but for a $5 game, you can look past that. Definitely well worth its price tag.

I've already beaten this game when I got it through the Windows Store, but thanks to Humble, I now have it on Steam, as well.

If you enjoyed Symphony of the Night, you're probably going to enjoy this game, as well. Some of the items/shards can be a bit of a pain to grind for, but nothing that's required to progress; it's mainly something for hoarders and completionists. I've seen some people mention a steep difficulty curve, but I've never really had a problem with it and I don't consider myself someone who is particularly good at these types of games. Just a solid game made with SotN fans in mind.

Fun time waster and they're constantly uploading additional content. My only real gripe comes from when I first played this game. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when I go into a game and can't immediately adjust settings. This game forced me to play through the tutorial before I could get to the graphics settings. There's literally no logical reason to not let players adjust this stuff immediately.
