I can come across as biased because this was indeed my first Sonic game, but if you get the chance by all means do play this game. The camera's a tad sucky at times, the homing attack requires you to be precise and the translation is mediocre at best if you even be bothered to care about it, but the gameplay is enough to keep you coming back for more.
