The Legend of Grimrock attempts to recreate classic rpg games such as Might and Magic, Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder.

As of writing this, the game is 8 years old but considering that this game tried to resurrect the "4 person party controlled from the first person" format, it is ageless.

The story isn't too specific, but that comes with the genre of the game, leaving plenty of details to the player's imagination.

If you played older games such as the ones listed at the beginning of my review AND you wish to experience this type of game with modern graphics, go for it.

The pros of the game are both its cons: Everything you may have loved about old crpgs where you control a party from the first person perspective is present in this game, including the controls.

If you're used to action rpgs or hack and slash games, this may not be your cup of tea.

I would recommend the game for players who want to relive a classic gaming format and players who are open to delve into something different.

This is a very professional, high quality HL2 modification. Tons of fun, plenty of random moments due to 3 teams.
I recommend this to every Hl2 owner, give it a try.
It may or may not be your slice of pie, but you will walk away with a unique experience regardless.

This is a very good adventure game. Good voice acting, great story, you can relate with the characters (some you love, some you want to punch through the screen)

Immersion at it's best, highly recommended.
