One of the best games I've played in my life. No other shooter tops this. Skill is prioritized greatly as well as being a battle of wits. Being able to play mindgames with the opponent and best them because you made them make a risky move is satisfying beyond belief. The atmosphere, animations, attention to detail; everything is amazing in this. The main gripe right now is they are steering the game to be less fun oriented by catering to the loud minority instead of the silent majority. They try to claim there is a meta but it just does not exist in this whatsoever. You can kill people with any weapon you just have to learn its weaknesses and strengths. Still a must buy for someone looking for a challenging experience that rewards player skill.

The game in it's current state very much feels like one big tech demo. The combat is so simplistic with such a low skill ceiling that you can master the combat (more like the jump kick) by the end of the first combat encounter. There's no incentive to play through the campaign again as it's very cookie-cutter it ends up feels so uninspired and generic. I can't help but feeling disappointed as I've been following this for years. If this was $5 and we were testing the game engine and what it was capable of this would have been a better buy but at $30 your money is better elsewhere.

It's pretty gucci. Buy it if you wanna be ganked and pointed down at by the PvP community

-Art style is extremely cozy and fits well
-World is rather large and feels realistic (This is a pro or con depending on person)

Cons
-Kinda short
-Story ends with you wanting more and a bit abruptly leaving many questions unanswered
-Even by the end the guy still can't climb the rope faster than day 1


It's honestly up to you if you want to drop the cash for a game that'll last ~4 hours. The story does leave you a bit upset at the end because of so many things left hanging and feeling like all the conversations didn't make much impact on whether or not you guys ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the end. If they released a free DLC wrapping up the story then this would be a must buy.

This game, it's so frustrating that it makes you want to keep playing. You want to close the game, but you just can't. You try to stop but you can't stop press the left and right arrow keys until your fingers have the symbols imprinted on them. It kind of makes you want to never play again but you know you will anyways because it's an annoying fun that somehow keeps bringing you back to play more. It's always super cheap too so there's not much reason to not buy it.

This is truly superior in every way to the original and is super satifying to play. It's decent fun doing pub matches but it's at it's best when played with 3 other friends. A co-op shooter that sets the standard for having fun with friends
