2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing (or substitute blue cheese dressing if preferred)
¾ cup buffalo wing sauce (Frank's RedHot is a popular choice)
10 ounces cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped (rotisserie, canned, or home-cooked)
Shredded cheddar cheese (amount to your liking)
Optional additions: blue cheese crumbles, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder
Baked buffalo chicken dip instructions
Preheat and prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo wing sauce. Beat until smooth.
Add chicken and cheese: Fold in the shredded or chopped chicken and about half of your desired amount of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
Transfer to dish: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Top with cheese: Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the dip.
Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted. For extra golden cheese, you can broil for a couple of minutes at the end.
