Before you buy, a.k.a. spoiler free zone:

This is a neat little game. It's a linear story game, nothing stops you from going on delivering packages forever but that's not the point of it. So keep that in mind - this is not a sim game, nor just a "cozy game", I really don't think that was the sole intention here. But once again no one stops you from playing it like one

Post-playthrough, spoiler zone:

The story itself is... Okay. It's not deep, nor is it moving or captivating or whatever else. It's like if you took Signalis (or any other recent (good) indie horror game) and dialed down worldbuilding, story and horror elements by like a hundred points. (Why the hell am I mentioning horror games? The influence seems pretty clear to me. It would be REALLY easy to turn this game into a plain horror one. And I do respect the devs for not just making it into a cookie-cutter horror game).
This is a plain, self-contained story. Aaaand it really has nothing to tell... It doesn't feel personal, like many other indie games do. It's pretty hollow at that.
The characters are neat, they have some personality. But there's obviously no character that would be unforgettable. MK is somewhat of a "straight man" trope, as if they're just a plain, reasonable person with nothing much going on. But honestly I couldn't tell you a single thing about MK, save for that they and Seb were close friends.

Seeing shopkeepers slowly evolve was really neat.
The creeping up errors of the shopkeepers caught me off guard. I was intrigued. But when MK tells you head-on that there's something wrong with the shopkeepers, it's quite heavy-handed and the intrigue was gone just like that. It made it feel like I'm back on the rails once more, before that I had much more of a "i have no idea where this is going" vibe.

We don't really get answers about who Seb really is, the MC, who are the SDs, what's the deal with Easy Co. and so on. Which is pretty dissapointing, it could be potentially really interesting.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this neat little game could be a real indie gem if the story elements were made deeper, more personal. But there's really no blueprint for that and not every indie game has to have a deep story

So first for the Deal part, Snatcher's Death Wishes:
They're cool. I like them. They're absurdly, stupidly hard sometimes. To the point that using Peace and Tranquility (the game lets you make them way easier) is basically the only option if you wanna complete it without losing your mind
Cosmetic stuff is great, and that's the only reason I'm completing them - most of them are NOT fun without peace and tranquility

I wanna talk more about the Seal part, so the new Chapter:
It's very, very short, only 3 acts of it. Which is a PECKING shame, because I love this absurdly huge cruise ship. Once you get to know it, it doesn't feel that big though, it's juts a few rooms honestly. But it's still very fun and cool looking
And youuu... Only get one real act playing there.
The finale is awful. It has to be the worst level EVER in this game, it's absolutely atrocious

So the chapter is basically a bunch of lost potential, which is pretty sad. Im not sure if they didnt have enough development time or something, because you could do so much more with this cool cruise ship. 3 acts is juts criminally short honestly

The purple time rift is challenging. It's basically the only time rift that can give you a headache

I'm not leaving a negative review because I wanna keep up the "mixed" balance, it's pretty fair in my opinion
If you want more content, and CHALLENGING content, you could get this DLC. It's not that expensive and I think it's worth it
But it's not nearly as great as Nyakuza Metro is. So if you want more solid content you should get that instead

By the way, I'm pretty sure the devs made Ship Shape level way easier
