I can’t recommend the game for steam deck users in its current state.

Frequently boots to black screen after choosing language, and averages between 13-15 FPS on my OLED. I’ll change the review if these issues are fixed. Was really looking forward to playing this game on the go, absolutely love the artstyle

Wanted to note that most of the negative reviews are from over a year ago when only 1 episode was available And the game was in a worse state.

This game is really fun and kicks ass, if you’re a fan of boomer shooters or doom, definitely check this one out

This game is abysmal on steam deck. I loved PW1 and despite the recent negative reviews, decided to purchase it. I can say with certainty this game isn’t worth the trouble especially on steam deck. The UI is horrible and unresponsive. Setting controller sensitivity to max doesn’t do anything and you won’t be able to aim faster than a snails pace. Don’t waste your time or money on this game especially if you’re on steam deck. This game is undercooked and indecisive, wait until the devs decide to actually support their product.

(Devs stated they’d fix controller issues over 2 years ago in a major update and it’s still broken, do what you will with that information)
