Fantastic game we discovered this weekend, already played over 14 hours. The magic system is fantastic and thoughtful. Development is active, and it's clear Jordan loves this game he created.

Around 700 hours on this game, multiple play tests. I'm HORRIBLE at this game, but also horribly addicted.

This game is the only PvP game I enjoy. It hits all the right spots for a fantasy extraction looter dungeon crawler. The learning curve on this game is dramatic. You have to learn how to handle PvE, ie spacing, attack patterns, and when its just best to cheese the mobs. After you've mastered PvE you need to learn maps and where the juicy loot is. After that you have to learn how to survive PvP, which is where the most variety and danger comes from. You will be playing against people who know exactly how to counter you.

Game is not pay to win in any way. People complaining about it being pay to win are just being out played by very experienced players. Playing with better than common gear or in high roller (only available after buying legendary) is going to place you with some real chads, so get ready to be stomped.

Game is constantly being updated, balance being adjusted, new classes being added, maps being rearranged, enemies being added. Join their discord for all patch notes and announcements, however I'd advise against getting involved in any of the channels other than announcements (typical gamer drama is abundant). Watch twitch streams of folks playing like SoBadStrange, Ryan6DaysAWeek, and JayGriffyuh to get a better grasp of the game mechanics if you want to. Look up Guides to bosses on Youtube.
