Toybox Turbos is a fun little racing game in the style of Micro Machines. The graphics have a timeless, colorful look that fits the game really well. The vehicles are varied and fun to use, and they actually feel different from each other, which keeps things interesting. Tracks and game modes are enjoyable. Nothing here is particularly innovative, but it works.
The biggest downside for me is the handling and camera movement. It can feel a bit inconsistent at times, and some races feel more like luck than skill, especially in chaotic moments. Overall, it’s a solid and enjoyable arcade racer with a lot of charm and definitely worth checking out.

Super Toy Cars is one of those games that looks fun at first, but quickly becomes repetitive and forgettable. The graphics are okay, but clearly outdated. The biggest issue for me is the lack of variety.
The game modes are very basic, and the soundtrack feels like it only has a handful of songs that loop constantly. After a while, it gets genuinely annoying. The car selection is also underwhelming. There aren’t that many vehicles, and most of them feel pretty uninspired. Overall, the game just lacks personality. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not something I would come back to.

Zipple World is… honestly, a complete mess. The game is full of bugs and design issues, and the controls are horrible. Even if you manage to figure them out, you’ll probably glitch through the map every couple of minutes. Somehow, playing a game this bad can be kind of funny, but if you’re looking for a serious experience, stay far away.

Contrast is a puzzle platformer set in a stylish Art Deco-inspired version of the 1920s, built around a really unique shadow-based mechanic.
You play as the imaginary friend of a young girl, moving between the real 3D world and a 2D shadow world to solve puzzles and progress. It’s a creative idea that gives the game a distinct identity. The story is more mature than expected, though not particularly memorable. It has a similar tone to Papo & Yo at times.
Puzzles and platforming can become a bit challenging later on, but they never feel unfair. That said, controls and camera can be slightly clumsy, which occasionally gets in the way.
The real highlight is the presentation. The art style, voice acting, and especially the soundtrack give the game a lot of atmosphere and charm. It’s a relatively short experience, but overall a solid and enjoyable title. Definitely worth checking out.

Woodle Tree Adventures is a short indie platformer where you collect berries and water drops across a handful of small levels to help restore a tiny forest. The game has a charming, colorful art style that strongly reminds of old Nintendo 64 titles, which gives it a nice nostalgic feel.
Unfortunately, that’s where most of the positives end. The controls feel quite clunky, the camera can be frustrating to deal with, and the sound design quickly becomes annoying. It often feels like the game needed more polish overall.
That said, if you enjoy simple, cute platformers or specifically like that retro 64-bit aesthetic, you might still get something out of it. For a very low price or in a bundle, it can be worth a look — just don’t expect too much.

Thomas Was Alone is an indie puzzle platformer with a very simple but unique minimalist art style. You control a group of shapes, each with their own abilities and personality, and your goal is to guide all of them to the exit of each level. It sounds simple at first, but the game quickly becomes more challenging while always staying fair and enjoyable.
What really makes this game stand out is its storytelling. The narrator and soundtrack add a surprising amount of emotion, atmosphere, and even humor to what would otherwise be a very minimal experience. The game is relatively short (around 4 hours), but it never feels dragged out and stays engaging throughout. Overall, it’s a charming and memorable experience that’s definitely worth its price and easy to recommend.
